Brno practice and Qualification

I really don't understand the Ducati, how can it be quick in the wet when arguably the feeling front is going to be even more vague? It doesn't make sense!

WTF are you talking about, Ducati is on an alternate universe. Its fast there. The problem is we don't live in that universe.

Didn't see practice but rossi's time looks pretty good. This is if anything further proof that ducati sucks as you say in view of them going absolutely nowhere in jb's absence, and it seems he will have to drive any improvement in the bike.

Really sucks that hopper got injured.

Stoner has the best race pace with quite a few laps more than Pedrosa and Lorenzo under 1.57.500. But Dani was able to throw in fast laps when he needed to.Can he do it the whole race.

That's a strange way of looking at it: Pedrosa and Lorenzo did more laps in the 1'56s and had longer runs. Stoner usually does short runs, but his QP was full of single flying laps. If there's any question about who can do race-long low 1'57s/1'56s, it would be for Stoner I think, especially when you add how FP2 went.

If Stoner wins a dry Brno, I will be surprised.

Dude, WTF! Hopkins, you're luck is the worst on the planet. This was looking so good. ....!

As unlikely as it seems, I was looking forward tae seen what he was gonna do! The guy has seriously exorcised some demons an turned himself right around. Bloody shame he's oot, like you say Jum, if the guy didnae have bad luck, he'd hae nae luck at all.

Pete who is now nice about Hopper,

(but still holds the same opinion of Spencer)

The 'feel' aspect is chassis flex. No bike on the track has a flexing chassis in the wet.

I'd love to hear that Spencer opinion - I bet it's a hoot

Quite a good session, concerning for all Honda's not really moving forward from Friday, whilst Jorge and even the Ducati's made progress.

Stoner looks to be struggling with tyres again and Dani looks great for the race, I feel the pace will be low 1.27s with the weather so there are a few possible outcomes.

What is very interesting is going back to the 2009 QP times, especially one Tony Elias, a 1.56.8 on the Satelite Gresini! On par with nearly with Stoner/Spies yesterday, with very similar weather conditions.

They are all still a long way off Rossi's record that year 1.56.1, with only a 6 degree track temp difference. More dry time might have helped, however the tyre supply controversy seems to be

rearing its head at every circuit for a number of the top guys, and definitely for the likes of Elias. Stoner's main issue is rear tyre blistering way too early.

Rossi seems closer than ever before, which as with his record of finding something for the race, looks very promising for Ducati. Maybe the enigma is starting to be solved.

Nicky's improvement was unbelievable, over a second from one stint to the next. Dovi seemed nowhere and you can't help but feel for Hopper, lets all hope he gets another chance.

I feel as though a 'Top Gun' Yamaha might be on the top step though.
