I only got to see race two last nigth and I think playing the blame game in racing is as stupid as it gets, it was very unfortunate for all riders who came off...

what a ride from Shakey, would have liked to see how he would have got passed Haslam and Sykes..

I know you are a Leon fan but considering that you thought Shakey's riding at thruxton was worth a mention, Haslams Oulton performance should be inexcusable by the same standard.

I think the disqualification was a little heavy handed, This incident was almost identical to the Camier move at Cadwell last year but with less significant consequences and nothing was done then. It was a shame for it to end like that for Sykes as it was Leons mistake, but these things happen sometimes.

Oh yeah. fantastic riding from Shakey again, with Brands on the way his points lead shoud increase. Anyone think he could be looking for the Bayliss job?

Yeah the blame game is so stupid that the orgainisers congratulated Haslam by docking his points.

Why don't we just fit spikes to the bikes and make it like chariot racing?

Extra points for what bones you can brake on the other guy.

I thought professional bike racing was about skill, not ....... dodgems.

Look, We are not the organizers or a committee, I was referring to the people that use this forum, sorry if I did'nt make that clear to you

It was a racing incident, two guys going for a corner, two guys that want to win and are payed to be out front, it happens, I'm not saying the incident was right or wrong, I simply accept it for what it was... a racer see an oppertunity and goes for it, most of the time its clean and precise other times it turns into fubar

professional bike racing is all about skill, but your missing the point.. what about Pedrosa when he took out Nicky or when he took himself out in pratice when he ran into the back of Rossi

nobody means to do these things(unless your name is max and your trying to push a certain fellow called rossi of the track) no matter how stupid or wrong it might look to you sitting there on your sofa with beer in hand...

I'm not missing the point at all. There are passes, and there are passes. Sometimes you know you will go through cleanly, sometimes not. Remember Checa's comment about the incident with Max Neukircher?

Every racer makes mistakes. Some learn, but some turn "racing incidents" into an art form.

As for the Pedrosa incident at Estoril, would you have walked over to Nicky when he was punching the gravel and said "Nobody means these things , it's a racing incident"

pete I dont disagree with what you say, the only thing that I did not like reading was how some cut up riders for making a mistake thats why I wrote about not playing the blame game.

None of us are in a position to judge and ridicule a rider like that, I could understand if Sykes came on a forum and said Haslem was a Fing .....

It's an internet forum, we all come on and give our opinions. BSB has given me many years of enjoyment as a fan, as have GP, WSB, Moto x at all levels.........trials, enduro, supermoto.......I'm certainly not saying I would have done things better, because I'm not a professional rider.

But, if I .... up in my job, I can do a lot of damage to people's lives, and would expect to be hauled over the coals, or even dragged through the courts. Cause and effect, repercussions. You take your chances, and if you .... it up, take the consequences.

And, if you do it in the public eye, and take the wages that go with a high profile job, prepare for the backlash.

Tom.. Hi man, long time.. Shakey on Xerox next year? Maybe airwaves finally move upto WSBK with Shakey? and Biaggi gets Bayliss's ride?? Hmm, shakey everytime for me! :)

Are you having a laugh?

Haslem stood the bike up just before he made contact with Sykes, he was going straight on and he was out of control.

I think he deserves to be disqualified from race 2, especially when you compare it to Tamada/Gibernau at Motegi in 2003 where Tamada was disaqualifed.

Definitely. I'd say Ducati won't be interviewing anyone else. He'd be better to work with than Max, Michel would need to get sacked for Max to get a seat.

Looking forward to seeing shakey on the world stage.
