During races and free practices the bets are not active, though you can still bet on live betting (right hand side column) if the session is happening right now and it's not almost ending.
The bets are simple:
If you bet on winner you will see the list of riders and next to them a number, that is the ratio you get paid for that bet.
For example it says Rossi 1.5, that means that for each € you bet you get 1.5 € back. So if you put a 10€ bet and Rossi wins you will get 15€ back (winnings = 5€)
