YEAH A KAWA ON THE PODIUM, WELL DONE SHINYA !!!
<

Wow, what a battle between Edwards and Hayden, I thought Edwards was out of contention when he missed the chicane, but he somehow got back that second in the last lap and was soooo close to winning. I feel really sorry for Colin.
<

Dani was pretty low key all the weekend, at least he beat Stoner.
<

The Shitzukis went backwards very fast, I think those tires were so soft they must 've been made of chewing gum.

The injured guys all managed to finish, great job!

what a last lap! poor colin. i thought he might have had it there for a minute. they were both determinded as hell & it was win or crash for both. dangerous for nicks championship. but colin wow i don't ever remembering seeing him so determined! rossi, capirossi, & melandri. good for them. they all got points. well the bridestones did good 2nd! well done shinya!!! good battle between mb, crashy, & krjr. the suzi's..... well what can ya say. it was'nt the tires for the most part.

Poor Colin he deserved that I think.

Shinya great ride, Rossi was pleased to finish in a credible 8th, KRJ another decent ride from him, Hopper....WHAT HAPPENED???

Good rides from the injured but for 1 point I really think Capper neednt have bothered by the look on his face.

Didn't Shinya run the rear soft?

Hayden ran a sweet race, and I hope Colins fire is lit!!! I was very impressed with Dani today. I thought assen would show the limits of his small body!

What a race, alright.

Well done to Hayden for wining and taking Honda's 200th race win, his consistancy paid off.

Bad luck to Edwards for missing out on his first GP win, he certainly was determined to win and deserved the win.

I eat my words about the rest of the season being preditable, that was one unpredictable race, with all the injured riders, the last laps and especially the crash on the last corner.

Rossi did well to finish where he finished, thats one tough rider.

Hayden sharing his champagne with the podium girls was awesome and what about the pit girls dressed in tight yellow dresses with helmets on, they looked hot.

Me too.

I thought Stoner did well today. At least he didn't crash. In fact he gave Dani a run for his life.
Yeah poor Colin. I guess he couldn't handle the pressure from Nicky towards the end of the race.
Someone must be very happy though that the green man is on the podium as well.
<

I was really impressed with Edwards guys....but even more so with Hayden, he stayed in the hunt and admitted that he made adjustments in a certain part of the track to gain time....nothing prepared me for his crash though....I mean come on.....he deserved a win.
As much as I hate "Captain Boring".....Pedrosa, must say he had a good race although he got held up by Melandri a bit...Stoner was real close. How about Nakano, holy Kawi!!!??? I haven't seen team green on the boxes in forever.
As for the walking wounded.......give it up for Rossi guys, injured, with a broken hand, he goes from 18th to 8th....if he had been able to qualify better, he might have made podium with the pace he was running...Loris should have rested....but 1 point is better than 0......on to Donington.....

He's not boring......he's just shy. I did saw him throwing a flying kiss at the camera, that's one step up heh.

Yeah I agree he is not boring, its his personality, Dani doesn't show much emotion.

Great race!

Gutted for Edwards and I didn't want Hayden to get the 25 points.

Well done to all the injured racers. Go Rossi!

just think wot rossi would have done fit as the yam is on fire..
edwards trying so hard, he lost the race twice but hey the racing..

First of all i have to express my admiration for the injured riders ..they all did a great job..Melandri-( about him everybody said that he would not race)..Rossi ( he's 46 point away of Nicky...superb racing from the Doctor - he is a doctor after all, no?)..Capirossi ( 1 point can count - but it was worth it? he was really struggling to breath - hope he'll be in a better shape in Donington )

I feel for Colin..he deserved that win...what a great last lap..one mistake and all was over...
Nicky was lucky after this race if you ask me same goes for Dani..( dani had a good race..but lucky to e on the podium)
Nakano good race pace..he deserves that podium.

Now..Donington is near the corner and Niky is 1st then Dani leadind Capirossi with 2 points and Rossi with 4 points....a hot season ahead season...

Exciting race !!! I feel for colin i think he deserved to win especially with all this talk about him getting kicked out of yamaha team next year, i think it would of been good for him, but .... happenz, And as for Hayden well that's about it.

Stoner rode fab give pedrosa a run for his money. Melandri what a ride after everythng last week did himself proud. I feel abit sorry for caparossi i think he should have leave the racing for this weekend and recover for this weekend at donnington.

Been injured doesn't stop rossi, he rode out of his skin, GO ROSSI

Nicky is all smiles, especially when he wins lol. His voice goes all funny when he is disappointed and fustrated with himself, you ever notice that?

I watched a documentry on the AMA, it had interviews with Nicky's brothers, they are all some much a like. I wondered whether Nicky's brothers would come across to Moto GP one day.

GO NAKARS! I was a bit worried Kawa wouldn`t get a podium at all this year, with the retatrds in the HR department choosing some crash prone average 250 riding frenchie over a podium scoring, former 250 champion frenchie, and all the talent on fast bikes wouldn`t leve old Nakars much room. Great job team Green! Now about that race win, Mr. Nakano......
<

And Moneybags, I don`t like to go on about him (waste on breath, really) but come on, that Ivan Silver fella has never raced in the top class, and he beat Cardoso. That`s pretty pathetic. I`m convinced moneybags is paying for his ride. Damn rich boys
<

Feel sorry for Edwards, once more a race win eludes him. Crashey was surprising, maybe the knob is finally growing a brain and realizing "to finish first, you must finish", that said, Pedrosa was still across the line before him, if only just.
Melandri and Rossi put in heroic efforts, Capriex did too, it`s such an effort to get on the grid in their states, but Melandri and Rossi were the real shiners in that group, Rossi really has got a lot of skill, and great at adapting himself. Meladri is half dead, so to finish where he did is just as great an achivement as Rossi (Rossi`s achivement was more skill, Melandri`s more balls, but both sensational)
Nicky my have won out of Edwards bad luck, and it would have been nice to see Edwards take a win, but that`s racing. Winning is winning. Congratulations to Nicky

hey.... he's concentrating ... its hard to remember how to lift such a big trophy ... he hasn't done it since laguna...
<

meh ... i was very excited with the race ... had a ......... day and a delayed screening of the motogp didn't help... ( had to watch australia kick ass on Ireland in the rugby union instead)

the last lap tussle reminded me of swantz vs rainey battling it out at assen and likewise it came down to the last chicane and but both riders fell ... and swantz broke his arm i think ... ah well, edwards is lucky to have finished.

good work by stoner ..... right down to the line side-by-side with pedrosa.

Not quite side by side, Katt.
