+ 1

There's been some amount of vastly different theorys on what might or might not happen. I've just about given up on even trying to work out what'll happen next. It's bloody great isn't it.

I really want to see Nicky bringing it home a few races now.

What another good race. I've got to say that I think this year is turning into the season I've always dreamed of in MotoGP.

I don't doubt Rossi's incredible talent but him always winning did make the series incredibly tedious and apart from when Gibernau had the balls to take the fight to him I found myself switching off or over. There was always this inevitability of Rossi winning which just took away the excitement. All the races have delivered but Turkey was the best so far full of overtaking and battling - isn't it just great.

In Assen it was good to see Pedrosa and Stoner battling. I really rate Stoner. Without full sponsorship you can see he's trying and although he may have come off he does like he's giving it his all. He doesn't look like his competitive edge has been dulled yet and turned into a journeyman rider that so many become.

Good to see Colin and Nicky duking it out. Colin was truly awesome in getting that one second deficit back on the final lap and then over taking. I so wish he'd made it but it was also good to see Nicky win this year. I thought it telling when Colin smashed his windscreen to pieces after trundling back across the line and I hope this might return some of the amazing fire that he used to have when he won that incredible SBK championship in 2002.

Fingers crossed that the rest of the season continues to deliver and again although I bow to Rossi's greatness I wish the BBC coverage and commentators could occasionally remove their head from his arse and follow some other bright young riders. His continual winning was becoming boring and almost as exciting as the current F1 championship.
