My brother has been collecting the duke season reviews from 1990 onwards and so far we are up to 96, it makes for facinating watching, a good history lesson and some great watching.

Just got my hands on a book thats about 12 years old about 500 Technology, should keep me Going, reading up about Zeus and them other dudes

Oh yeah i'm certainly missing MotoGP like hell but am just too busy to dig out the old races to watch.

i was having withdrawl symptoms in the first week of the 2006 season ending....i dont know how ive lasted this long
<

I have been watching some old races taped from Eurosport, the past couple of days and never get tired of them.

youtube definately rocks. Also i checked out the testing scheduele on mcn website, it looks pretty intense from febuary onwards. i cant wait, although i expect pedrosa to be fastest in testing, i have swayed towards rossi proving a point next year and reminding everyone why 46 is actually better than a number 1.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Captain Jack @ Dec 27 2006, 10:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I certainly am!

I've just watched The Doctor, The Tornado & The Kentucky Kid on DVD and can recommend it to blow away those off season MotoGP blues. It's narrated by Ewan McGregor and follows the 2005 round at Laguna Seca.

It gives you real insight into the organisation of just one race out of a long season and gets you into the minds of the racers and what they go through. There's interviews with Hayden, Rossi, Edwards and Hopkins plus engineers etc. Hopkins actually plays a big role as the outsider on the day and I'm not sure why he isn't in the title of the DVD (although it's long enough I guess!).

If you've already seen it I'd be interested to know what you think. If you haven't, I suggest giving it a go. Highly recommended

haha is that a joke
