Are you missing MotoGP?

I certainly am!

I've just watched The Doctor, The Tornado & The Kentucky Kid on DVD and can recommend it to blow away those off season MotoGP blues. It's narrated by Ewan McGregor and follows the 2005 round at Laguna Seca.

It gives you real insight into the organisation of just one race out of a long season and gets you into the minds of the racers and what they go through. There's interviews with Hayden, Rossi, Edwards and Hopkins plus engineers etc. Hopkins actually plays a big role as the outsider on the day and I'm not sure why he isn't in the title of the DVD (although it's long enough I guess!).

If you've already seen it I'd be interested to know what you think. If you haven't, I suggest giving it a go. Highly recommended

I am reading a book called MotoGP technology, which went through some of the development and evolutionary progress (some were revolutionary) for the teams in the 990cc era..

Like did you know that Dani used the same clutch that Nicky had but it was Nicky that had clutch problems?

I'm missing moto gp badly, but ..... ManU are giving it to Chelski this season so it's not all bad

can't wait for 10 March tho!

Funnily enough I don't 'miss' Moto GP, I actually like the long break as it clears your mind for the new season ahead of you and it makes it better and you generally look forward to it even more (well that's what I find). I wouldn't say I can't wait for the break though, not like that.

Interesting one that, could it be that the clutch was designed for a lighter rider....or did Asimo have some kind of USB interface that Nicky is lacking?

Roll on the 2007 season.

Actually, Haydens clutch sat deeper into the case....That was what was causing the issues. Same clutch, yes...Different set up though.
