Anthony Gobert -2008 plans?

Is one of the world's biggest waste of talent planning to race in 2008. He competed in the Aussie SBK's in 2007, but checking the site, does not show him.

I think Mr Gobert has joined the `making up the numbers` set,a bloody shame that his talent went to waste.

Anthony Gobert finished 16th overall in the Australian Superbike Championship.
I don't think he competed in all of the rounds. I'm sure he was riding a privately entered Kawasaki ZX10R

He is not entered in the first round (this weekend) of this years championship.

His results for 2007 were:
Round 1 at Eastern Creek NSW # 17; Q21st, R1 15th, R2 DNF
Round 2 at Winton VIC #17 Q 13th, R1 14th, R2 13th
Round 3 at Winton VIC #17 Q 13th, R1 10th, R2 12th
Round 4 at Mallala SA #17 Did not compete
Round 5 at Symmons PLains TAS #17 Q 6th, R1 DNF, R2 10th
Round 6 at Queensland Raceway QLD #17 Q 13th, R1 12th, R2 12th
Round 7 at Queensland Raceway QLD #17 Q 13th, Did not compete (which is weird because rounds 6 & 7 were held on the same weekend, hence qualifying result for round 7)
Round 8 af Eastern Creek NSW # 17 Did not compete

Overall 16th with 69 points, 12 points behind 15th position and 256pts behind the series winner Jamie Stauffer.
