I became a fan after this race. he was slower on the straights but his corner speed was great. Does it help around the corners to be as tall as he is?

I was surprised to see Simoncelli up there, keeping pace with Bautista to the end, he is normally a back of the front pack (around position 7-10) or he is crashing. When the crash happened I was first thinking, dumb ... Simoncelli ran into Bautista, but as it turns out Bautista had a really unlucky failure on the last lap. I don't think I can be a fan of Simoncelli though, seems on edge too much.

What was really impressive was Pasini's ride, to come from 14th (started 10th) and finish 2nd amazing ride. Granted it should have been a 4th place finish if it wasnt for the crash up front, but still great job riding.

Being that tall doesn´t help at all in the corners, it might be an advantage to be able to move the weight around more in braking and having more force to turn the bike, but in the rest of stages of racing (accelerating, top speed ...) it´s a disadvantage.

Pasini was pretty good but with IMO there were a few that did a better job (Bautista, Simoncelli, Takahashi ...) Still a well deserved and impressive (Considering he's a rookie) leader of the category.

I agree, being tall is better for breaking and changing direction, but in actual cornering it is worth nothing.

Also agree that Bauti, Simoncelli, Takahashi and Kallio all impressed me more than Pasini.
