All my predictions are looking to be wrong.
I think he won a race last year.Pretty sure that’s the first time a Suzuki has figured in the podium battle since 2022.
Don’t beat yourself up over it. It’s Moto3, the only thing consistent is the inconsistency. All my predictions are looking to be wrong.
In their defense, most of them ARE.He's making the rest of Moto 3 look like rank amateurs.
The fact that Fenati lasted 11 seasons being the insufferable tool that he is, is a minor miracle in itself. It took Alonso less than two years to equal the number of wins Fenati scored in 11 seasons.
In their defense, most of them ARE.
It might have been just ten in Moto3 plus two half-seasons in Moto2.The fact that Fenati lasted 11 seasons being the insufferable tool that he is, is a minor miracle in itself.
I was a big fan too until he Fenati’d himself by punching Pablo Nieto, which sadly was not the last time he took the “Be yourself” mantra literally.Tbh after his first two races in 2012 I thought the sky was the limit to what Fenati could do in GP racing
Another interesting thought, by the time Alonso gets to MotoGP (which I have no doubt he will) the 2027 regulations will be in place. He won't have to get used to the new regs because he doesn't know ride height racing. This could be a real advantage for him.I was thinking this after I wrote that lol.
I am intrigued by how this carries into Moto 2 for him.
I don't see him repeating this against experienced riders, but however maybe we will be pleasantly surprised.
I guess it's been awhile since I really watched a rider in Moto 3 that stood out to me the way Alonso is at the moment. I'd feel the same way even were he not winning seemingly every race just on account that he's not letting anyone take advantage of the traditional Moto 3 slipstreaming battles when he is in front of guys. He just carries so much more corner speed as well.
