Miguel is out for this and next weekend and likely also Australia after breaking his right hand in FP1.
Was a rather nasty looking crash, I think he was lucky to walk away with just a broken hand.

0.082s between the first and last GP24. We've been saying that this will be close between Bagnaia and Martin. It looks, it's only practice, super-close between all four of them.Zarco and Marini (!!!) still 11th and 12th in P2.
Four GP 24s out front separated by tiny margins. Fabio once again solidly in the Top 10.
Yeah aero is the means to an end, not an aim in itself.Quartararo says that the Yamaha is now handling well, and they have to work on having more power while staying nimble. He's saying that their priorities are: grip, power, electronics. I noted that he didn't mention aerodynamics, which I find a bit odd even if they are perhaps included in 'grip'.

If you can’t beat them then join themWorth noting that the Ducati started turning well too when they reduced the surface area of the front fairing and cut the side fairings high (exposing much of the forks).
this was then copied by KTM and then Aprilia. Now Yamaha did the same and sees an instant handling boost (The engine played a big part as well for sure).
Is Frankie going to be the 'X' factor?
Wasn’t it here that he was launched to the moon by the widow maker? Must be weighing on his mind on some level.Certainly won't be Marc since he still can't stop crashing around here.
Another terrible Q2 for him. He doesn't seem capable of fixing his qualifying problems any longer.

I think we’ll see another win or bin ride from him, but this weekend is Martin’s to lose at this point.
Calling Quartararo for an outside chance at the podium.
