This weekend my local club is holding the national titles for Aussie supermoto.
Bayliss confirmed already, rumours that Ant West will be coming along also.
Super stoked. Will post pics next week.
Troy Bayliss will be attempting to regain the Australian Supermoto Championship title he won in 2014 in the PRO (S2) class. Troy will also be going for a perfect trifecta after entering the OPEN and VETERAN’S classes as well.
Oli Bayliss will be contesting the JUNIOR LITES class against some of Australia’s best Supermoto juniors. Oli has only recently started racing on tarmac in Road Racing and is going to have his work cut out for him against the juniors who have a local track advantage.
Far North Queensland Road Racing Club secretary, Jason Allen, stated “It is great to have Troy and Oli Bayliss attending! Troy will most certainly be making sure the front runners bring their A game. Troy will be attempting to regain the PRO (S2) class he won in 2014. It will also be a great experience for the up and coming Oli to get some exposure to the front runners in the senior classes and to contest against some of Australia’s best junior Supermoto riders. The spectators are also going to be exposed to some of the best Supermoto in Australia and also be able to ‘meet and greet’ the Supermoto stars!”
