Hey guys, I'm going for my first ever (and hopefully one of many) GP at Sepang. Can anyone tell me about the pit walk? Thinking of going for it and I wonder if we can actually see teh bikes up close.

I'mgoing with my brother, wondering if anyone else is going, may be can meet up there.
 
Hi! I'm also planning to go to sepang, however, for next season (as a graduation gift to myself). I think the pit walk is in a package deal that you can buy from ticket re-sellers or from the sepang circuit itself (forgot the site). Getting the ticket from the sepang site is much more affordable.

Bought my tickets from the Sepang circuit and you are right it is much more affordable.

Not sure if this will help but I know with the pitwalk at Philip Island you just walk down past the front of the garages and all the teams have to have the doors up so you can see the bikes and the setups but can't get any closer than that. I'm only assuming that it would be the same at all tracks though. Hope you have a blast! The first GP is always awesome, just wait til you hear those bikes revving for the first time. Gives me goose bumps just thinking bout it. Gotta love that sound!!
 
Hey rina, Ben is going to Sepang as part of his honeymoon I think. Hope you have a blast. I`m going to my first live GP this year too, at Motegi in a few months

I used to not find MOTO GP fascinating especially when I caught Rossi's antic on tv when he managed to defend his world championship tittle in Sepang and with the Snow White and seven dwalves antics, I honestly thought he's short of a show off and OTT. LOl...Looks like I am eating my words now. As I learnt more about Rossi and MOTO GP, Rossi may be my fav driver but I do think other drivers are marvellous too. The way Rossi rev up the machine and go from bottom to up...its just ..what can I say..wow.. I am NOT and I stressed on the word 'NOT' a valentinybopper or whatever it is you called them. Just like vivailadottere wrote, as you hear the machine rev up (even though its frm the tv) and the way the rider move the bikes...Its totally amazing.

Mannnnn i never got such a warm welcome when i posted..... guess the girlies get all the attention (just kidding) I have only met one gal that enjoys motorcycle racing and I almost married her. So if your a lady who like racing you cooool in my book. Welcome to the forum!!!
