Foggy is on record denying that he ever said he hated America, and Americans. He did say he hated Daytona, it scared him. He said it was silly to race motorcycles on a track where you come out of a turn and are accelerating up hill towards a concrete barrier.He was used to real race tracks, not these ....... rovals that we are so well known for. Russell had zero fear of the concrete barriers and made up a lot of time in those sections.He also made up huge time entering pit road. I never will forget the sight of him coming down pit road balls out, much faster than anyone else.

Foggy's remarks about Daytona always cracked me up b/c he used to race the TT and Macau. He won at both of those places as well so he wasn't exactly touring.
