Invited to NY and didn't show = double chickenshit.

Lol, revisionist history is what you do best, Kurryfart.
I invited you and you made all sorts of excuses including the ridiculous statement that there is no Motogp race at Misano. Once you ran out of excuses. You were all “Oh yeah! I invite you to New York and if you don’t come you’re the chickenshit”!

It’s a good thing that you fire blanks. Nature has decided it doesn’t need more of your kind.

I thought, said and wrote that despite being a huge fan of Andrea Dovizioso, it would have been hard for him to fight for a championship again and that 2017 was a stellar season for a really good (but not title-good) rider. I also said that I would have been very happy to be wrong.

Being a .... Sapiens (and not a Neanderthal like a few in here) I am able to understand that the fact that he's my favorite rider doesn't mean that he's the best rider on the track, nor the best in history, nor the one that should have won but was unlucky on that day

That being said, I am happy to say I was wrong. I was in Misano on sunday and could witness the immensity of his speed, as well as the stabilty and insane acceleration of both the Ducatis and how Dovi was taking advantage of this, sending his bike out of the corners like a rocket. The bike is sure helping him but the way he rode (on a track that he never really liked) hammering down fast lap after fast lap was nothing like the Dovi I've seen before the end of 2016.

This title is safely in Marc's hands already but Dovi didn't have a lucky season, he really has done the step IMHO.
I think that's a fair shout, mate. If Dovi comes in second for 2 years on the bounce to MM then there is no shame in that at all. Weirdly I think that had it not have been for his success last year he would maybe be doing better this year. By that I mean that Dovi isn't a crasher but he's probably feeling more pressure to win and so has pushed a bit harder in places where he wouldn't do normally and has come off as a result. Eg LeMans.

But I am happy for him and big respect to his fans who have stuck with him for all the years when he wasn't quite as successful.

You know this forum is much more readable if you put synn on ignore.

I'm sure there's special forums somewhere for these wonderful people that have pissing other people off as their daily aim. I suspect that someone like this can't have the most rewarding personal life. Otherwise they'd be far less bothered about other people and how angry they can make them.

We're all different. Some are just a little more different than others.

It was a very reasonable request on your part, obviously.

You could have asked him to join you at the Sea of Tranquillity if you had wanted to make things difficult.

I just watched a MotoGP race live and had a wonderful vacation afterwards.
But they were definitely not as enjoyable as making the mouthbreather squad cry.

Meh its the same every year. The boppers get angry that rossi aint winning ....... so they start griping and blaming everything that isnt worshipping rossi. And it progressively gets incoherent as the season progresses. Sadly they dont appear to realise the real reason for their anguish is ....... rossi.

Some day, some doctor will declare Rossi-ism as an actual mental disease, like alcoholism or drug addiction.

12 Steps Of Rossi Anonymous

1. We admitted that Rossi is powerless to attain a 10th championhip

2. We came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves (Casey Stoner) could restore us to sanity.

3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Stoner as we understood Him.

4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves and then descended into complete denial.

5. We admitted to Powerslide members, to ourselves, and to our mum the exact nature of our perverted thinking.

6. We were entirely ready to have Marquez remove all these defects of character.

7. We humbly asked Dovi to forgive our shortcomings.

8. We made a list of all Powersliders we had defamed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when we could make some lame excuse and wriggle out of our commitment to acknowledge reality.

10. We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly stopped making excuses for our .........

11. We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with Stoner, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Boppers, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

You can write a novel, but you’re still a methhead with a dead sister who wasn’t smart enough to get her one night stand to wear a rubber.

Dovi has been able to take the fight to Marquez, and has done well when the two are head to head on the track. no other rider has been able to do that consistently, so I wouldn't say a championship is out of the cards for Dovi.

The only person who discerns humor in your posts, is you because you suffer from a personality disorder that can't put together a funny idea, so in desperation, like an angry little child you flail at people trying to shock and offend to get a reaction. Sad. I expect even RCV must be weary of propping up a pariah like you by now. You spend all your time surrounded by people who see you as a pitiable misfit to dump on and this is as close to fellowship as you can achieve. Although by your lights the fruits of your social skills on PS would be considered an unsung success.

I stated the truth.
If I wanted to make a joke I’d just type your name out.

No-one is likely to win a title for a while barring injury to MM, as it seems unlikely he will repeat 2015 and start throwing his bike down the road every second race again any time soon.
Marquez is going to have a vicegrip on the title for a while. With that being said, I think before the last round someone calculated the title standings sans MM, and Rossi was leading by 35 points...

The grid's real problem is the sheer strength of Marquez.

I would say Dovi is rather more chance than Rossi however, he is 7 years younger, riding at his peak and has a very good bike, and on general principles would seem likely to have a better bike next year when Rossi will be 40 given the German money and Gigi, unless Jorge’s input really has been crucial.
I think losing both Casey and Dovi is a risk. Casey felt that Ducati weren't using his feedback, so he'll likely quit too.

Unless Petrucci does a Stoner he will be a number 1 rider with Ducati’s entire focus as well. Rossi IMO needs things to go wrong for too many other riders to win the title at this stage in his career with Yamaha operating as they currently operate, particularly given Furusawa is not going to unretire.
I think we're now seeing how important Furusawa was, although Yamaha was very strong without him until 2017.

Most people on here are prepared to debate matters motogp and the virtues of their favourite riders without immediately resorting to peurile pre-kindergarten level attempted personal attacks; you and i disagree about many things for instance but mostly manage to have rational and reasonably cordial discussions about those things. I have made clear my reasons for disliking Rossi himself, rather than just an element among his fanbase, since Sepang 2015 which are nothing to do with the quality of riding, he was obviously an all time great of the sport at his peak and is still remarkably good at the age of rising 40. Even the most casual observer of his career surely can't contend that unfair lack of recognition, by fans, the media, officialdom or even the owners of the sport has been at all a defining feature of that career, while Rossi's fans with what I now believe to be his full collusion and indeed probably orchestrated by him have attempted to make the lives of pretty much all of his significant competitors miserable, successfully in some cases; no-one deserves to be vilified for being good at their job, which in this context involves winning world titles or going as close as possible to doing so.
I can see your point of view about Rossi. I can't say it's unreasonable. With that being said, not everyone on this forum approaches things like you do. I'd say a very sizeable portion of the members here do reflexively resort to childish Rossi-bashing, which is tiresome. I remember in 2007 when everyone said the same about Stoner, his Ducati and his traction control.

I don't like everything Rossi does - I'm not into hero worship - but I generally appreciate his career and contribution.

It's infinitely better than making idle threats behind a keyboard, though.

What could be more idle than some faceless .... issuing a challenge to a total stranger to spend thousands of dollars to take off from work and family to travel to Europe to meet with a roid-rage troll who may or may not even be in Europe? One, who I recall, doesn't have the guts to post a photo online by which to ID himself. He sure didn't post any photos of himself at the race the way, Jum and Kesh have.

Who BTW made idle threats? Besides Krap Magnet? Stop making excuses for this pathetic troll. You're just destroying you own credibility. You used to be a well-adjusted fun person to debate. Now you spend all your time trying in vain to prop up this sad loser.

First you say people "went berserk" over the actually widely accepted idea that Dovi won't win a championship. And now you falsely accuse me of making a threat. Show an example of either or admit you're just pulling this stuff out your ....

I issued an invite to come to NY and try to keep up with me on any back road. I even offered to loan a bike. Not exactly a threat - is it?

Another fantastic post dude, the only one on this forum who continually jumps in to defend this piece of .... synn is RCV,he tries his hardest to come across as mean as his buddy but all he does is repeat the same bollocks synn invents, everyone with a brain on here knows synn is an .......,the list is getting longer by the day of people he insults and is in conflict with on every thread he engages in, yet his monkey RCV wants to jump in with him, what a ....... loser in life if you want to tie your wagon to a troll.

why do you need to throw .... to my thread after literally 2 posts?

Reply seriously, if you are able to.

This is how synn rolls, along with his monkey RCV,the 2 biggest hypocrites in forum history, don't wait on serious replies from either of them, they're just a pair of Rossi fanboys striking out at anyone who doesn't practice the same devotion as them, hopefully when Rossi retires they'll both .... off.
