That's one advantage, the other is rpm. Smaller bore and smaller stroke, allow for both higher valve surface area, and higher rpm, the latter the most important one.

True anf that's why it's not happening in WSB, but in motoGp only. Here they can design cranks, chains and gears that can take the strain and they can afford a rebuld after every race.
