Despite surgery he underwent on Monday afternoon, the unfortunate Spaniard will remain quadriplegic,
unless miracles now very unlikely.

Prediction:-
Haslam
Laverty
Rea
Sykes
Camier
Fogarty
Hodgson
Toseland
Would rather be dead then to face that road.
terrible news
Unfortunately the conditions of Joan, albeit stabilized, remain serious. The damage to the vertebrae C6 and C7 was very serious and even if the action taken to hospital stabilization of Bologna is perfectly successful, the damage to the spinal cord are permanent .
"The risk remains that Lascorz parapeglico is the first evidence of the incident that I talked to team owners," says Massimo Corbascio, head of the Mobile Clinic Superbike. "There's also the risk that the lesion may have affected the use of upper limbs but right now is just wait for the developments of the post operative. "
So, unless miracles, Joan has lost the use of his legs . Hopefully that will at least recover the arms to lead a normal life, albeit in a wheelchair.
Haven't heard Green, but I'd consider a temporary trade for Burnicle and Witham, the English twerps on Eurosport. They display zero situational awareness and do little more than babble incoherently.
Agree that the race was a bit of a snooze. There were some good passes, but no battles to speak of. On top of that, Imola doesn't have any 'real' corners left. Watching the bikes flip-flop through an endless series of medium speed 'S' corners gets kinda old.
Those two. What a pair. They sound like a couple of 85 year olds sitting on beer kegs out behind the pub whilst drinking homemade liquor and whittling away at random pieces of kindling with cheap pocket knives. While commentating on a smokin' race - they sound like they're talking about the cattle fair over in North Rimswell.
