Nothing in it yet, top 12 riders all within a second!

Good mix of manufacturers and interesting lower profile riders are lapping fastest already. Seem keen, with something to prove..

Wonder if Neukirchner is the real deal, a genuine young star on the rise?

Hope to see him on the podium with Bayliss and one of the Honda riders!

No more Kenan Superglue this weekend, one of his brothers was killed while racing in his native Turkey.

My condolences.

Bayliss on superpole will start from 1st on grid! I'm predicting Bayliss to take the double win. Haga 2nd, Neukirchner 3rd & Checa 4th.

again good race! was so happy to see Max N finally getting a win. how weird was it to see bayliss not being able to close the gap towards haga+max N, first time this season???

wtf is going on with Xaus tho, has he been jinxed to not ever finish 2 races per race day or something??? and tamada crashing in the last lap....

supersport 600 was good fun too, yet again! josh brookes did great, had a fantastic start. loved how the battle for 4th developed, how many times did they pass eachother!
<
Harms just doesn't give up. commentators here on eurosport blamed him for not letting pitt go and get near the top 3 riders. what a stupid idea, like harms is supposed to settle for 5th if he can get 4th. those commentators SUCK big time, liking they're having a chat over tea, bunch of old guys. but great race (not as good as assen tho

)

1 foret
2 brookes
3 parkes
4 pitt
5 harms

Two excellent races today, its great to see a new winner emerge in any series. It was also entertaining to see Bayliss pushed and riding scrappy like in qatar, shame his bike gave up in the second race. Checa was a let down today, and really binned an excellent oppertunity to gain champiosnhip points on Troy. Kiyonari however is just coming good. He rode brilliantly all weekend and i look forward to seeing more of the same. Biaggi?????

excellent races!!! I love SBK more and more!! Happy about Max N. and Kiyonari (shame he's not second after all). what happened with troy's bike?!
<
and indeed, what's with Biaggi, I miss him at the front (I wouldn't believe I would ever say this, but yes). ...and I love Monza!

+1, I still have a big passion for MotoGP but over the past two years, race per race WSBK has been more entertaining

MotoGP race distance should be cut to half the laps, after that it really dose settle itself out too much, there's rarely any clean aggressive racing in the latter laps, either that or go back to 990cc

Good wkend for Neukirchner, Haga and Max, unexpected result from Ducati, WSS great race but no not as good as Assen thats was one of the best i've ever seen, Great race 2, o.oo9 sec's.. thats tight

Brilliant two races.
<

Gratz to Max N on his first victory, I'm sure there will be many more.
Kiyonari was very good and was really unlucky not to win race 2.

I'll be interested to see if he can keep up the pace in the coming weeks.

Haga 09?

I don't buy it. Haga has had so many chances i think if he had it in him he'd have taken one by now. 2000 was his year!

Also Kiyonari 09

You can rely on Monza to produce better racing and a better atmosphere combined than any other circuit on the planet.

Haga has always gelled with this circuit; (fact: if a track lends itself to Nori's style, it's invariably a sign that it's .... hot.) That Belgarda/Yam Italia HQ is round the corner admittedly helps. Watching the man through Ascari, Lesmos and the Parabolica - (Pista di Alta Velocità decaying banking in the background, a sacred relic like Brooklands of a bygone age)...traction control turned down to minus 10, - reminds me just why this sport has so much soul - (and who can forget Lavilla smokin' the Gixer a few years back). Watching Meregalli cack his bracs just heightens the pleasure.

I'll tell you what befel Max...a certain Czech ex-250 stroker jockey by the name of Smrz. I await with grimaced anticipation the similarly inevitable and eventual desperate move by his compatriot Pesek to everyone's fave proddy paddock.

Why are there not more posters on these threads? Geez, we see some of the best racing ever and we have a hand full of posters. WTF.

Great races, enuff said. ....... Ay!

I've seen the first SBK race and the supersport race - but not the 2nd SBK race - but you're right, fantastic racing as always. Good to see MN get a win.

Son, you are in for a real treat on that second race. I hope you haven't read the results. Stay away from the boards man, you'll thank me for it.
