Wilairot at the top with 15 to go. Now wouldn't that be a sensation if that kid could win his home race. That would be fantastic.

Not sure if it is clear to all that the Wilairot wildcarding this year is NOT Ratthapark (who won the WSS race last year) but his younger brother Ratthapong.

Nick takes fp 3 on last lap flyer
Super pole next

Yeah, but I don't think it means much. 15 min session . Won't get my hopes up.

....... app sucks, comes and goes, comes and goes. Good thing you don't have to pay for that piece of ..... Cut off on the last lap of superpole.

Poor Sykes, he can't help it, didn't he. I never saw him to be more temperate, and patiently wait for the later stage of the race, he`s burning his tires early and then that`s it for him. I wonder why his team didn't schooled him till now?

van der Mark has some serious speed, I don't see Nicky keeping up with him for much of the season. He was all over Rea's rear before he came in too hot into a corner and ran wide and almost high-sided but saved it.

8 laps to go, he's still around 2 seconds behind Rea in P2.

Rea past Syke into P1 with 4 laps to go, this should be final positions...though Sykes still has Rea close enough.

They showed Nicky Hayden in the garage, my lip reading skills picked up him saying that "then there was nothing" after pantomiming being in full tuck. Possible engine failure?

Replay just showed Guigliano nearly took out Davies by running too hot and just missing his rear wheel. Christ that would have been bad.

And Guigliano just went down in turn 12, low-sided right off the track...looks like the crashes are back...

Last lap, Rea got held up by a backmarker, let Sykes chop off a couple of tenths. Not seeing Sykes getting past.

Rea with a very narrow victory.

P1 Rea
P2 Sykes
P3 van der Mark

The ZX-10R's looked to get stronger in the 2nd half of the race.

van der Mark is the only guy who was even close to the ZX-10R's and that ended when he ran wide. He's faster than the Ducati's....which is unreal on that antique bike he is riding around.

I cant wait until Giugliano achieves his goal of taking out his teammate.

Congrats to Kawasaki 2016 champ. Van Der Mark was ride of the day again. The Fossil-blade electronics went Ducati on him. Amazing he finished the race on the podium. His expression in parc ferme was that of frustration. Nicky's bike went French on him and gave up. Honda Wsbk is shambolic.

They need to get van der Mark into GP...I think that kid would be the real deal there.

He carries so much ....... speed through the corners, not sure how he is doing it on that antiquated .... he is riding. I'm thinking you have to punt Crutchlow out of LCR and put van der Mark in for 2017.

Guigliano is going to kill someone soon. His near torpedo of Davies was a scary moment.

You know, I like all kinds of bike racing, but watching these Superbikes wiggle and wobble all over the track just confirms why I love GP so much.

Wait, don't you mean you like watching factory M1? Because RCV and GPX do plenty of wobbling, worse the further you go down the line given they get no tech support for electronics.

Agree. In fact I was just saying to you how planted the Blade looks in particular while Rea, like VDM as JPS says, is crying out for a satellite ride in GP at the very least.

In my opinion for the best riding style in the series watch Jules Cluzel in WSS. Yet to see whether it wins him any races - both the F4 and the F3 look a tad flakey.

In addition to round II of Sykes and Rea, expecting a great duel between the Kawasaki's of Krummenacher and Sofuoğlu tomorrow.
