I just heard today that Neil Hodgson thinks I blocked his move back to WSB on a factory ducati. He is not the only one Alex Barros thought I blocked him as well. I am flattered they think I have that much power but I am only one small piece in a big team. There are many people and a lot of factors that decide who goes where. I'm not here to bad mouth people so I will leave it there. FULL STOP.

Thats why I like this guy, not only is he fookin fast, but in a world of trash talking and egotistical riders, that attitude is gold.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (antfan @ Jan 2 2007, 09:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Sounds like Neil should talk to Troy before he goes and has a sook about him being the reason for his lack of a ride. Maybe he should look at himself, and his age, results, form etc. Maybe a change of manufacturer will do him some good. Either way, Neil's lost a fair bit of respect out of all this IMO, i cant stand slanderers.. Bloody Pommy sook.. Troy = Genuine Top Bloke..

That may be jumping to conclusions on Troy's part. Up until now, Hodge and Bayliss have been on good terms. The only bit I've heard about the whole rumour came from MCN, and I wouldn't trust anything out of that mag until it's verified by a reliable source.

I agree Troy is a good bloke, also it is risky to believe anything in MCN unless it is verified by a decent source. So far i see no reason to think less of Hodgeson, except that he is considering a ride with foggy!

But regardless, i think Ducati definately made the right choice signing a young and talanted Lanzi over an older experienced rider, they have bayliss so they dont need another one.

Check Neils website, he put it in HIS diary.. I think that might be pretty reliable...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>It appears that Troy Bayliss didn’t want to be put under pressure by having a competitive team–mate and Ducati have bowed to his demands.

Well, I take that back, antfan. It looks like you were right. Someone's having a whinge. Well, after reading that, all I've got to say is go cry in a corner Neil. I'm sure it'll help you get a ride.
