<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Haslam did ride a 500cc 2-stroke in 2001Yeah Haslam rode the shell advance vee-twin, the same bike that Chis Walker rode. Under powered and under budgeted Honda experiment. Both riders had only limited input to bike set-up and neither of them were even allowed to change clip-on or footrest positions. It was a strange arrangement hence the crap results and loads of Crashes for both riders. Haslam is real talented and very experienced for his age, if he gets a Honda he should have a dig at motogp, could also be a good guy for Yamaha to consider in a sattelite team. Whatever happens I think Haslam deserves another shot, better Haslam or Toseland than James Ellison.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I think Kenny Roberts will call it a quits.
Ain't no way in hell man that's ever gonna happen. Kenny is capable of chasing the title next year if the team get to run one of the sattelite Hondas. I've been watching him very closely on the V5 and I can tell you for sure he's holding back a little during the races. Did you see his tyre after Laguna, it was like new. Let Pedrosa, Hayden, Melandri & Co fight it out. I think he's finding his race head again and getting used to michelins after some long and fruitless years with Suzuki. He's nothing to prove right now so no point in falling off for 5th or 6th. Kenny's gonna be primed for 2007. I'm tellin you guys watch this space next year.
