I have left this open to multiple choices as I know a few people support more than one factory.

My current favourites are Honda and Ducati.

Honda because I think the RC211V was the best thing ever invented, they are currently underdogs after their .... 2007, and they house some of my favourite riders (Dani, Nicky, Dovi).

Ducati, well because it's in my blood. I've lived with a father who's had a 750GT, two bevel 450's and an 888SP4.

I dont cheer on any particular manufacturer,i pull for riders.I have owned many of the different bikes and currently my Kawasaki zx12r is the best bike ive ever owned.I say that only because its the longest ive ever kept a bike.It has 60000 miles and still runs like the day i bought it and has not had 1 problem. The other bikes allways had something i didnt like about them or i wrecked them bringing about thier early demise.

I hope he still has them.

Hey Phleg, there is SOMEBODY knocking on your door. You better hurry up and answer it, I can't wait any longer.

Traverser (AKA duc junkie)

I voted for kawasaki, because I've always liked their road bikes - I don't go on results they produce in racing, otherwise there would be no chance of me voting for them.
I'd love to own an Italian bike, even though I love ducatis, if I was spending money on an italian bike, I'd go with a MV or Benelli - something a little more exotic.

for me it was hard to choose between honda, yamaha , and kwakasaki because i ride all 3 manufacturers bikes.

but for gp bikes honda , yam , and ducati

I voted for Yamaha, because they have been the most innovative manufacturers in the GP history.
Think of the development of the 2-strokes since the '60s with the first V-4, the introduction of the single rear shock absorber, the reed valves, the deltabox frame, etc. etc.
I may add a virtual vote to Ducati for the most original design of the MotoGP era.

Always liked Kawasaki, despite they suck in racing as far as I can remember. I like most of their Ninja series road bikes.

Ducati I liked it since the 996 bike, I thought it was really beatiful. Then came the 999 which I think is the ugliest road sbk ever and I didn't support them so much until they built the 1098 which is brilliant.

Honda I never liked, despite 2 of my fav riders rode Hondas (Crivillé, Pedrosa).

Suzuki, never cared about them.

Yamaha I like, both race and road bikes, I think R1 is one of the best designs.

I also like KTM and Aprilia.

I like Yamaha best. Don't really know why. Maybe because they have the best looking road bikes (my opinion) with the R1 and R6. Also cheer for Rossi and think that the M1 is the best looking bike in the paddock (okay, the Kawasaki is equally good looking).

Kawasaki's are doing very well in AMA Supersport with Roger Lee Hayden.

...I would rather say, for having the biggest and richest R&D department.
I do not remember Honda introducing any significant innovation apart from the pro-link, which was an improvement on Yamaha's Unilever.
They have the richest R&D so they produce very good designs but mostly these are improvements on things thought out by others... Others invent, Honda copy and optimize.

I don't consider that a major flaw. Optimization is what engineering is about.

I like Ducati.
I have owned a couple, ridden quite a few and being in the states I like it when they stuck it to Honda in AMA.

Then comes Foggy and Bayliss WSBK. The 916 and supermono and I have been in love.
Yes the 999 is a bit ugly but it roars and rides very well. The 1098 is just a sexy evolution of them all.

it has to be yamaha.been a fan since the mid seventies.great respect to the other
manufacturers but theres just something about that tuning fork that has always
done it for me.yamaha is more family than race team.vales quote in the book
'yamaha and valentino' the perfect match.says it all.

nothing wrong there.its not like football.where if you follow another
team you wonna kick one another to bits.respect to ya.i would imagine
you don't get many chances to get to full throttle in jersey.i've been five
times.beautiful place but if you ride a bike a little restricted.maybe i'm
wrong let me know.
