Who had that gut feeling?

Ok, all opinions aside (There's plenty of topics to discuss what happened) Who sorta had a feeling that Estoril wouldn't be "just another race", that somthing big concerning the championship would happen? Now that I think of it, considering how unpredictable this season's been, I wasn't really surprised that Estoril changed the face of the championship. (I was surprised at how it happened, mind you) Did anyone else think so too or was it just me?

not just u bro, believe me.

3 things i can say....

1. its moto gp

2. it just not might be Hayden's time to shine, we'll see

3. with the points being so close and all......

My very words.

I knew something would happen to factor into the championship.
I also knew it was going to be a big race.

I just didn't expect the championship to be affected like that.
I just guessed wrong who would be the ones doing the close racing.

I posted a poll on zx10-r.net about Estoril & my choice was that NH would not have a points lead after the race, have to admit i didn't expect that though!

I had for sure, I teach night class on a thursday and a couple of the guys are into GP's, I said to them there was definitely going to be some drama on raceday, there's going to be drama at Valencia too, I'm 110% sure of it.

I never get it with the Moto GP but I always get it with the Formula 1, even at the most boring circuits on the calendar such as Magny-Cours.

I didn't have a gut feeling before the race but I had not been so nervous in my life. But from the way hayden and pedrosa were riding, I knew something catastrophic would happen.

Its funny I actually told a friend of mine about 3 races ago that "wouldn't it be bad for Dani if he crashed Nicky......and this was a while ago.....that's why I couldn't believe it had actually happened.......
This is going to be with Dani for a long time, if not for the rest of his career.....
I mean how gut wrenching is this image.......

i'm not a hayden fan so to see him fall off didn't exactly break my heart but that photo is sad to see - he's clearly gutted (so he should be) and i would much rather rossi had won the battle without nicky being skittled by dani.

Same thing happened to me earlier in the season, can't remember what it was but it involved crashes.

I didn't see this coming at all. I was excited that Nicky managed to stay well up in the order on the start; I really thought he had something for Rossi. I was pretty bummed when he got taken out.

Oh well, I can't say it wasn't interesting! And the actual race was crazy good!

still is katt ! hayden could still win it. seems unlikely but is possible. he'll have to race like a demon & hope a little luck comes his way. as far as seeing something big happening i'd have to say no. i figured it be a barn burnner with the camels & repsol guy's duke in it out till the end. it actually looked like thats what was going to happen. & it did. for the 1st 5 laps & then with 2 different honda riders. i had thoughts of colin getting orders to ram hayden of the track but of course that was just the conspirisy theorist in my head. never imagined what actually happened. gotta say tho that has to have been 1 of if not the most entertaining races i've ever seen. & i've seen alot! i think valencia is gonna be as good!

I thought that it was going to be a Rossi-Hayden 1-2. I stand corrected. Although from all the posts I've been reading I can already see it...Hayden fans are probably going to say these things. If Hayden wins the championship, it's all his work because Dani certainly didn't help him. If he loses, it's all Dani's fault. I do feel sorry for Nicky but I still feel Dani is a better rider.

My picture perfect finish would be 1st-KR Jr, 2nd-Rossi, 3rd-Melandri. I don't really care where the Repsol guys end up, just no crashes though.

I thought it would be normal race and I believe Hayden could / would have won... But when them lights went out and by the end of the first lap I believed something was going to happen..

funny how people were saying, when Vale was a good 43 points behind, that he could still win the championship... and now, hayden is only 8 points down heading into the last race and people think its impossible!?

strange that people will doubt the ability of one man over another.

its not over till the fat lady sings!
