I want to tell a post who posted in a forum about motogp. ( In Turkey )

"Rossi feels, he must win the races this year. Everybody knows that is causes bad things to him.
But the problem is Rossi things as a noob himself this year. It makes a suffering effect to him. And I think If he didnt accept Yamaha's offer, He may not find a new team for race in MotoGP.

Stoner is future of Yamaha. And other noobs too. But Rossi who is the older monster of MotoGP,scaring them. Becouse other teams things young guys make better than Rossi.

But If Rossi doesnt think the youngs, If he things "Im the best" , He will pass by the youngs in next years... "

Thats very different think about this text ???????????????????????????. Rossi doesnt trust him this year.
But he know whats the attention this year. He is not best this year.

I`m a bit thrown off here too. You mind if I offer a little bit of help here turkish fan?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Rossi is under pressure to win races this year. Anyone can see its affecting him with bad results. But Rossi`s main problem this year is the rookies. It`s causing him some distress. And I think that if he didnt sign the contract with Yamaha, he might find himself unemployed at the end of the year.

Stoner and other Rookies are where Yamaha`s future lies. But Rossi is like a monster, scaring them away. Other teams belive when these rookies come of age, they will be better than Rossi.

But If Rossi ignores there youngsters, if he continues to belive he is the best, he will maintain his dominance over them for years to come.

That`s a pretty different opinion.
Rossi dosen`t trust himself this year.
That`s what is on his mind this season. He`s not the best

Well that`s what I made of it anyway, I hope I haven`t misinterpreted anything you were trying to say

Good effort there Richo. Perhaps you should become the interpreter of this forum. Admin, please take note.

Lots of things happened to Rossi this year (injuries, technical problems). But that's racing for you. As for the rookies, I guess Rossi wasn't expecting them to do so well on their MotoGP debut. But I don't think he felt threatened by them. He's someone who like to be challenged remember? If Rossi didn't sign up with Yamaha, perhaps Ducati will be the next to offer him a contract. I don't think Rossi will run out of contracts. Imagine nobody wants to sign up a world champion, how bizarre will it be! This year is gonna be an exciting race compared to the previous ones.

it doesn't look like stoner is the fututre of yamaha(although i wish he was) , as i have some talk from the inside and it wil be no other then marco melandri as rossi team m8(that's what may source tells me).

hmmm ...

people have to realise that rossi is just another world champion ... a dominating one yes ... but still just a world champion all the same he doesn't have superpowers, he's just a regular champion (lol) ... his time will come, like the champs before him, and when it does he will step down. dont mean to tread on toes, but thats what i think.
please dont crucify me.

from there the cycle will continue ... a new dominating figure will emerge and it starts again ...

as for scaring the rookies off ...
hmm ... rossi is one man right? if my math's serves me well ...he only requires one bike and one contract...
its not as if hes depleting the field of any other possible contract deals.... and he would most certainly want some healthy competition ... surely.

That's a link I have not heard before but it doesn't surprise me. Rossi and Melandri get on real well. What of Colin Edwards then? Back to Gresini Honda or back to WSB?

I think one thing Rossi is not in danger of is having problems with who to sign with. It's not as if his skills have diminished. He is still at the top of his game. For goodness sakes he finished on the podium with a broken hand...that says something about where his skill is in relation to most of the field.

I heard rumors of Colin going back to WSBK..

The language and your suggestion are both completly ridiculous.

oh man does it ever STOP! for your information babelfish, for foreign people it's not easy to write in english ALL the time. this post you made isn't friendly at all and can scary FanDeVale away

I realy don't want to say this, but the level of this forum is getting lower and lower. I don't blame you ben, I think you're trying as hard as you can to keep this forum going, and I appreciate it. but it's not like the old days anymore, and that's a pity... I feel sorry for you ben, I noticed your posting less then usual. if everybody just could work together and not be so

all the time, it would be a lot nicer.

FanDeVale_Turkishfan, please don't take his comment serious, and post as much as you want. I rather read your posts and try to figure out what you try to say, then read posts like babelfish made and everybody else who is so OFFENSIVE all the time...

by the way, please don't reply to this post of mine if your only trying to make a fight and causing yet another topic to get closed down by the admins. it's not my intension to close this one down or to start a huge discussion again

back to topic!

I heared the same rumour too! I also heared that Ben Spies is going to the motogp, but I realy don't know with what team he would be riding.

I never thought of rossi and melandri as teammates. I think they do get along on a friendly basis, so it could work

Have to say Rossi is giving us all top entertainment. He and a few others are busted up but it just doesn`t seem to phase him. We`re looking at one of the most dedicated riders on the planet since Mick Doohan and no matter which team he rides for he will give it 110%.

From what I've read at Colin's website, it's all speculation at this point. He hasn't been talking with any WSB teams. We'll see what happens, I think he will stay in GPs for at least another season. I think he's got a decent Honda ride coming his way, they owe it to him.

You heard Spies was going to MotoGP? Wow, the best I had heard was there was a possibility of him going to Corona Suzuki in WSB but the odds weren't very good. I wonder who would think to take him, Suzuki are set for quite some time, Kawasaki won't be ready to replace RdP for at least another year or two if at all, I can't see Ducati giving an inexperienced American a shot on one of their factory bikes. Yamaha? Honda? They both made a play for the last up and coming AMA SBK champ and he's doing pretty well for himself at the moment. If these rumors are true, which I think is a long shot at this moment, I would guess Honda or Yamaha are willing to take a gamble with him. More likely Yamaha, no developing talent and they still must be stinging after losing out on the last AMA wonder kid.

Before the start of the season Rossi mentioned Pedrosa as a potential rival

Valentino Rossi: New arrivals and new rivals

Valentino Rossi defends his MotoGP title from a host of new riders this year after an influx of young talent from the 250cc and World Superbike categories. Dani Pedrosa (Honda), Casey Stoner (Honda), Randy de Puniet (Kawasaki) and Chris Vermeulen (Suzuki) have all demonstrated rapid progress during the pre-season tests and Rossi is looking forward to the fresh challenges they will present.

''This year my main rivals have changed and the average age is much younger, so I will have to work out their strengths and weaknesses,'' said Rossi. ''I have watched the career of Dani Pedrosa very closely since he was in 125cc and I have always been impressed by him and I expect him to be strong from the first race. Besides him, there are many different riders, manufacturers and teams that have been fast at different times throughout the pre-season so I hope that we can have some really good battles for the fans!''

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>We (Yamaha) don't have a superior bike but everyone here - from the engineers to the caterers - works together to give 100%," said Rossi. "I always fear Honda and Ducati - although we will have to see about Ducati's tyres. All three of these bikes – Yamaha, Honda and Ducati - are basically equal now."

I think he expected to have a difficult season, he expected many rivals but he didn't expected mechanical problems with his bike of crashes to get into his way!!
About Rossi i can say he will never be in the same position as Max -not to have any offers - everyone wants to have rossi - for his's skill, fame, fans and media interest!!

Yes, he mentioned Pedrosa several times during the winter as a serious challenger. Quite funny that so many thought Pedrosa would struggle with the "big" MotoGP bike while Rossi for once wasn't up with his mind games but actually meant what he said. Now the same ones that thought he wouldn't be strong enough says he has too much of an advantage because of his weight.

Rossi and Melandri? That would be a pretty strong team. But would it be too strong? I mean, the CYT accountants would be slitting thier throughts, having to pay for what I`m guessing are probably the two most expensive riders in the series.
<

Honda wouldn`t let go of the Man of Steel without a fight either. Especially to Yamaha.

But could Melandri do as well on a factory M1? I always though he really needed everything perfect for good results, but that theory got blown out of the water when he did what he did after Catalunya. I wouldn`t wanna get into a fight with him!
<
I supposed he`s got the experience for the ride. Who knows?

As for Edwards, I think he`s commited to MotoGP now, I just hope he can keep his hands on a competitive bike, with all these rookies coming up and the grid shrinking. And I don`t think Spies will get the opportunities Nicky did. Not from Honda anyway. Nicky is a great rider, but he`s also an advertising icon for Honda in the english speaking world. They don`t really need another. I agree Ducati won`t take a rookie out of the AMA, Yamaha have their sights set on one of Honda`s riders, I imagine Suzuki are pretty contempt with their line up, and although I hope he`s wrong, I agree that Kawa will stick by their crash prone mistake for a couple of seasons, and as far as rides in the motoGP goes, it all goes downhill from there. Not that much room for Spies, I don`t think. An Alistare ride would be a good thing though. Corser and Kagayama aint the youngest blokes around. Theyre gonna need some fresh blood at the helm soon. And Spies cut his teeth on a GSX. Once he gets used to the tracks and the tyres, he could be quite a force in WSBK
