and it's look like this year it's gonna be lorentho and pedrobot who win

pretty boring because just as fast as it's could and minus of excited like use to be

well we all like racing ?

Best not to open a thread with a blatant lie.

When l heard he'd come off l was like ".... l hope he's ok". Then as the day went on it became obvious that he was going to be out a long time and maybe got a bit selfish in my thoughts like "why does this have to happen two weeks before we go to Silverstone".

A big part of the circus is now missing but the racing will go on, .... happens, so we are looking foward to Silverstone and hoping for a great weekend

.............................Get well soon Val'e

hope the Championship can stay close i will watch as always regardless

but if it gets one sided and there's a few snore-fest races ppl will lose interest

lets see what the contract talks bring to the show it could be very interesting this yr with Rossi injured & not a lot to bargain with

Can Jorge input / develop Yam for 2011. even if he's to leave ?

who's going to do it for Yam with Rossi out

could YAM be on the back foot for 2011 now

off track it could be more of a story now rather than the 2010 championship

well. Ive to say 2nd thought after 'lets hope he gets well soon' was '.... he wont be at the TT' and 3rd thought was 'if it wasnt for moto2 I would just as well stay home'

Its not a foregone conclusion as to who will win,I`m still watching it avidly + we have Moto".

it's makes no difference to me 1 ioda.... i am not a personality follower. i'm an avid fan of the sport not a particular individual. i have riders i root for as do we all i think but when rossi leaves or hayden or lorenzo or whoever i will still be tunning in every race & relishing every moment!

Im a rossi fan and i thought mugello was pretty much the same as most other motogp races over the past couple of 800 era years except it was dani running away with it instead of Rossi or stoner . Some great battles further down the field which again is normal if the tv producer allows us to see it.

I don't think the race was made boring because rossi was absent !

i think its more interesting now. maybe not in terms of the championship since Lorenzo has that points cushion but Rossi being out means one less person taking up a spot near the front of the grid and/or a podium spot. that means we have a better chance of seeing Hayden, DePuniet, Spies, Edwards, Melandri, etc. on the podium. plus, it means at least one new person showing up on the grid, even if it is some boring Japanese test rider.

In the short term, Rossi's absence does hurt.  Stoner and the Duc are off form, so we're down to two fast guys at the front.  Given Pedrobot's erratic programming, it seems unlikely that he and J-Lo will engage in many epic battles.

Long term, I don't think the sport will miss VR as much as some fear.  IMO, the idiotic fuel limit has done far more damage to the RACING than the arrival or departure of any one rider.  I'll keep watching if there is reasonable racing somewhere in the pack, so long as the politics don't reach Eff Wun levels of ugliness.

My life is empty, I feel drained, I see death all around me, life has no meaning. There is no sunshine, darkness reigns supreme, I look into my children's eyes and I see a life of no hope, disillusionment and a sense of unfulfillment.

Why god? Why? Where is the joy, the hope, the sense of belonging to the human race? Where did it all go wrong? Why are there famines and pestillence? Why didn't I fullfill all those dreams I had as a child? What about the Somalians? Surely they must know my pain? .... Mugello!!! I hate that ....... place. It has single handedly destroyed life as we know it. Destroy it - wipe it from the history books forever - WE NEED A FINAL SOLUTION FOR MUGELLO!!

Oh wait, I realise I am at the doctor's (not Vale unfortunately
<
), but life is now better. Valium gives my life meaning.I am calmer. I can go on - I can get through it!! Yes, there is life after Rossi. Woo, I was getting scared there for a minute.

I hope no one has gone through the same experience as me. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It's horrible - some would say hell on earth - but I think it is worse. Hell has some sort of meaning. Life without Rossi has none.

I hate soaps. All the dramas behind racing do exist, yet they should be like the 10th or worst important points in racing. Off track makes for great jokes of course, but if it becomes more of a story than Racing and the Championship itself, we are dummed, lost, down the drain… Welcome F1 style! MotoGP will lose interest no doubt.

I was doing some major moping on Saturday, but on race day, without Rossi to root for, I found myself really enjoying that small battle for fourth. So I guess I'm not quite as bad a bopper I as I thought (and I'm pretty bad !). I was a little taken aback when I was asked if we're still going to Indianapolis. Of course! Why wouldn't we?!?!?! Are there really people that would cancel their race plans because Valentino won't be there?

So, coming from a self confessed yellow koolaid-a-holic, there is racing without Vale afterall!

The racing in MotoGP hasn't been good for years! It's no more or less boring without Rossi. He's one guy on the grid. He's not the entire sport for many of us. It makes no difference to me if he lines up or not. I wish him the best and for him to make a speedy return but no more than I would if any other of our sport's riders were hurt and struggling with a serious injury. If the prospect of Rossi not winning every weekend makes some folks lose interest in GP, they should migrate to professional wrestling where the results are predetermined and the action is just for show...........

This is a really good test to see what it will be like without Rossi in GP. It will be interesting to see if the numbers drop in ticket sales, television viewers, etc. Dorna, FIM, Fiat Yamaha should have a good idea how the sport will be post Rossi.

Regardless of what happens, it is what it is, Rossi cant ride for ever.

For sure, that's why I'm sick about his departure. As long as Rossi is not around, the MSMA have a cop out for GPs contraction which is horrible b/c they've been watching the sport contract with relative indifference since 2007. If Rossi is not part of the sport in the future, they will blame all of the disgruntled fans on Rossi's unexpected departure.

I'd prefer for Rossi to stay healthy so they drop in viewership can be attributed to nothing but the shrinking grid, shrinking fuel tanks, shrinking engines, and shrinking revenues of MotoGP. All of which have been caused by the MSMA's terrible technical regulations.

Let me put it this way, when there is no motor racing on television I watch horse racing. Get the idea?
