Vinales or Rins

If you are Honda, do you sweep in and try to steal Vinales from Yamaha or take Rins. Me Personally, i would look to steal Vinales. There is something about Rins that makes me wary of him. Not exactly sure what it is, but he seems to calculating of a rider and is up and down, like he thinks to much. I may even consider Lowes over Rins if i was hiring a GP rider

Lowes has a contract with Gresini for two years I believe.
Did it as a three year deal starting this year 1 in moto2 ans 2 years in gp on the Aprilia. So he is out.
I agree about Rins though, he seems to have brain farts too often, Last year with Dom Aegerter was a prime example, remember others too, he doesn't have the fluidity and smoothness of Vinales.
So Vinales ;)

Now that Lorenzo signed with Ducati, I think it's safe to assume Honda will sign Marquez for sure, correct? But is Honda looking at replacing Pedrosa next year? Viñales is a hot commodity right now, but he's rumored to go to Yamaha now that Lorenzo is out. If Yamaha gets him, I don't think Honda has a better option than Pedrosa, no? Iannone might be quicker, but he's still somewhat of a loose cannon for Honda, I'd think. We should know very soon what happens.

Iannone on a Honda? No way. They've already suffered through Simoncelli's destruction of millions of dollars of parts and no appreciable results. If he doesn't effect a miraculous redemption this season, he's going to be considered damaged goods. It's not as if Dorna is suffering a shortage of riders with Italian passports.

I have been advocate of Honda keeping Dani for probably his last 3 contracts, but unless he shows something really soon, Honda should go out and get one of the hot young prospects.

Quatararo is to young legally and seems to have lost some confidence since his bad injury, Miller has shown nothing of note. I would outbid Yamaha for Vinales's services, see how much they want to spend for Rossi's foot stool.

I thing its safe to assume that Vinales is going to Yamaha...I think if Honda makes a move it will be with some of the fresh talent from moto2, no one has mentioned Zarco yet, but lets see how the season progresses.

I think Rins has been usually faster than Viñales.

But there is a problem with Rins. He always seems like he's playing with friends more than racing the world championship. If he can take races more seriously, I think he will outperform Viñales.

So, Viñales, nowadays, seems a better, safer choice.
