I think Chris will wait to see what Hopkins does. If Hopper goes Chris will stay as long as he is the #1 guy. If Hopper stays, I can see Chris taking a ride with Ducati if Capirossi retires or maybe (this is the least possible I think ) would be Gresini Honda if they start doing better. Possibly take Colin's ride at Yamaha. But keep in mind that all these options are open to Hopper also and Hopper puts up better consistent results. Chris is a great rider also and I personally think its a toss up on talent between the two. John may be a little better with the 800 right now but Chris will adapt for sure.

An interesting quote from the article, Vermeulen says he has offers in writing from other manufacturers on the table.
Anyone care to speculate?
Chris should take a ride with some other team,Suzuki has a history of playing catch up ,for years now ,even in the Kevin Swantz times, it was only his brilliance that got results.
