Agreed. Like I said, I can't believe he hadn't signed on with someone like Monster or Red Bull years ago. And I googled for new stories, everyone is saying that he has signed and a release will be coming from Monster this week. Technically, you're right and it is still a rumor.

Brillant move for Monster to get a foothold in Europe.
At the time Hopper got his sponsorship with Monster they wern't even being
sold over there yet.
I wonder if you Euro's even see it over there. I'm sure in 6 months it will be everywhere.
What does this do for Monster Sponsorship on the Kwaks over here?

The rich get richer and .... everybody else. Before you know it,Gp will be a traveling Rossi circus like the Harlem Globetrotters. They will have one sacrificial rider that Rossi gets to pound on at every stop like the Generals were to the Globetrotters. No im not blaming Rossi, get all can get while the gettin is good.I blame Dorna for letting things get so out of hand that now instead of working to save the field.that promotional money is going to go to the guy who makes more than all riders combined. When a sports main focus is on one person, who is it that everyone wants to sponsor.Which leads back to the question i asked a few weeks ago.In the big scheme of things, has Rossi been good for Moto Gp.And no [Roger]
<
im not blaming Rossi personally. Will Gp get back to some kind of normalcy when he is gone?

Couldn't agree more. They had better hope that nothing ever happens to Valetino for another 0 years cause after the ........ Dorna has put GP through it is gonna take a friggin miricle to fix it. The lack of concern and excessive greed these days makes it even more bleak for that ray of hope.

Well according to some Rossi should be aware that he is more successful than other riders and turn down sponsorship

YEah greaT HERE is an idea. Let it be that Rossi will be taking EVERYONE's sponsorship as of now and he will just parade around the GP tracks in full attendance. There will be no more need for other racers cause they don't bring in the crowds.

Taken from Speedtv.

This deal has under discussion for over two years and became more likely when Rossi brought a mock-up of a Rossi-Monster helmet to the Indianapolis Grand Prix last summer.

Yeah....like Rossi sporting a Monster theme helmet in the US grand prix was meant to be in all fun. Rossi did it on purpose so that Monster will recognize and have an interest. Rossi is a greedy little ........ Pay your taxes like the rest Rossi.

Most likely because Adidas didn't offer him enough money. Have Rossi Donated any money out his pocket for charity? I mean, it's great and all for him to support charity as far as showing up at events but has he ever donated his own money to charity?

As much as I dislike Michael Schumacher, I heard he recently donated $10 million or so.

Do you honestly judge people by how much they give to charity? And call people greedy if they earn lots of money?

I agree rossi has all that money because he is a bad ... rider so he can do whatever the hell he wants with it. Its called supply and demand i dont think id even get a free can of monster if i went to a track day, but since rossi is the world champ he gets the 2.5 big ones. what he does with his money is his own business. Im not obsessed with him like most of you people But he seems like a very nice guy and im sure he gives a lot and if he doesnt who cares its his cash!!!!

Yea well i would never judge someone for how little if any money they give to charity or how much they earn. They make their money and spend it how they chose, there is no moral high ground for being generous as far as i'm concerned.

If the nastro azzuro deal is on the way out monster replacing it makes sense. I can't see anyone else knocking back such a deal if it was offered to them.

Is he still with nastro azzuro? i haven't noticed him carrying their branding for a long time

I could care less if one does it for publicity or one does it because of their generosity. Well, I wouldn't say I could care less because obviously I'd rather have the guy who does it from their heart to be more successful at what they do for a living than one who does it purely for self-image and self interest. Either way it doesn't matter...... so long as needy people benefit from it.

I haven't noticed but perhaps the nastro azzuri sponsorship has been over for a while. If as apparently was the case it was a major sponsorship it probably explains why he wouldn't have had an energy drink sponsor in the past as even someone with his profile presumably has to manage his sponsorships so that the sponsors get enough recognition.
