Vale is to wear the green claw for the next two seasons.

This can only be as a direct result of Kwacka pulling out and Monster dropping unemployed hoppa from their deal.

where will it end.

along with the increasing rumours around that Suzuki is to pull out too. WSBK anounce a rider field of 32 and 31 in SS and moto gp might drop again.

a very sad day indeed.

What I want to know is why it took so long for Vale to get a deal with an energy drink. Had Rossi spurred the advances of other energy drinks before? Two years, $2.5 million plus another $500k for a championship is nothing to sneeze at but (and I don't have any proof, just trying to recall rumored numbers of other deals) that's about what I would expect Rossi to sign for. Why hadn't Monster tried for him last season? Or Red Bull for the past decade?

Either Rossi had turned down offers like these in the past or no one has made him an offer before. My guess is he's looking for all the revenue he can right now and Monster came in with the highest bid.

Could this result in anothetr boring generic helmet design like all the other monster backed riders i can think of? I hope not

Doubtful. My guess he will have the graphics places on the chin piece of his lid. Rossi has too much creativity and showmanship to have a black helmet.

I have plenty of bikes thanks, and besides i was talking from a viewing point of view. I wouldn't buy a Rossi rep helmet anyway

I am puzzled as well, I would also have thought he could have had a deal like this at any time he felt like accepting it for the past decade or so. Good luck to him, but it won't help the diminishing grid in motogp; however if there is an overall strategy which will subsequently lead to sponsorship for tech 3 that would do so.

I do. Then again, I'm a whore for staying up on these things. And because of it, a marketers wet dream.

Branded like all the others......so am I. I have three Arai's that are the greatest helmets I;ve ever owned, and my favorite is my AGV.

Now excuse me while I go eat a Wudy.

I only wear Suomy and Alpinestars and drink Red Bull. They got me pretty good. In my defense though, my Suomy fits me like a dream.

Doesn't the guy have enough money already? I mean, it's not his responsibility to find a ride for/fund John Hopkins' future, but what's a guy to do? Rumor has it that he isn't even in the running for a spot on a Kwak with Aspar, if the team even happens... bummer for him.

It's January, Curvey. What else are we supposed to talk about? At least no one is talking about the demise of the series, Valentino running the show or Stoner being a crying ......

Okay, dude...you have to be careful when saying things like that to us Americans
<
Most of us have never seen that brand, so saying you're off to eat a WUDY has a TOTALLY DIFFERENT MEANING
<

Dang, maybe we need to get Oscar-Mayer to sponsor John Hopkins...kind of fitting, seeing how he can be quite the WEINER at times...

I know

But even if it were to happen...blaming the rider is stupid..
