Exactly. But go further. Rossi + Ducati = Cubic dollars. What is important? The rider.


In the lower classes the teams are expecting the rider to sell themselves to sponsors before they even get a ride. How does a rider do this? No big business will enter into that sort of agreement.


To try for a better analogy than my last one:


It is like expecting a carpenter to win a contract to build a house and then go out and find a builder to work under.
