Turkey GP predictions

well done Marco,i made my prediction even before qualifing started, and here is why, anyone who saw Melandri mixing it with Rossi on the last lap at Qatar,,and who is fighting for the runner up place was always going to be on it today, and with rossi having problem's with his set up,all these Fact's,there could only be one winner, and he did it in spectacular style[loved those wheelies]roll on Valencia !

Gibbers is really pissing me off this season. I had him in first....my heart though had him in 4th should have stuck with that. Out of curiousity does anyone on here do the team manager on the motogp site? I started after assens so I didn't stand a chance this year. Turkey was my best result with 116 points....I want that helmet next year, but the leaders are very good averaging like 120 points or so a race.

Well done Marco. He dominated the entire weekend and was consistantly fast throughout the entire race.

Rossi, the guy is a set up wizard. Goes from being in "serious trouble" in his own words on Saturday to having a podium race pace. He and Burgess are geniuses.

Hayden. I thought he would have more.

Gibs, voodoo is just a myth right?

Nice work to Elias taking 6th from Edwards on the last lap. It would appear as though team orders weren't put in place here.

Off to Valencia where everyone seems to go fast. Rossi will take his twelfth and the battle for best of the rest will be hardfought between Melandri, Hayden, Checa and Gibernau.

Thats a hard call to answer BUT Marco was quick all thru his tyre wear.

i remember wayne rainey and kevin s saying its all about picking the right tyre 4 the race even thow they were boyh 1 and 2 on grid,, thats would sound bout right for marco, i think he stole rossis tyre

Well done Marco totally awesome ride, and yeah Sete would have been there at the end winner dunno about winning it but would have fought for it BUT!!!!!.

Yes agree with ya Ooost just like to add though

Hayden why did he back off in the last few laps again like he did in Qatar, ya gotta keep racing right till the end, opinion of Hayden has gone down again. Never gonna win a champship like that.

I really though Rossi was gonna bin it after looking at Sat times and when he dropped to 8th on 1st corner I'm sure he was gonna do it. He fights so hard and when the bike is not under him he bins it. Like Qatar last year, looked to be in real trouble but THEY fix it, and rode hard right till the end!!!!. Awesome

Sete what can ya say, bloody hell, and acted like a tosser when he came in after the race as well, the guy has gotta get a grip. Bloody head case.

Elías 6th, he is progressing swiftly. I expect him to go 110% in the last race in Spain (so either a crash or a top 5).

Sete is so lost, I think it's good he's gone to Ducati, although I think he might be on the down slope now, joining Biaggi.

Melandri was pretty impressive, he looked quite ordinary in 250cc. I've never liked him, but it seems he might be a decent rider after all.

What about Sete Kallio chuck it away big time, that was the biggest choke of the weekend bigger than Gibbers one.

What a fantastic win for marco(me ben!)!!! With out a doubt that was a prefect race, alot like Nickys laguna win- rossi couldnt match the pace. For a few laps i thought rossi mught have let him go but no, no! he went after him and marco retaliated and pushed even more.

Well done to Nicky and to rossi. I agree ooost about VR and JB the best combo in the paddock.

Colin? i thought he had more but the look on his face before the race said it all...

Sete?...... get out.

What an amazing track though?!!!!! I love those elevation changes and that flat out uphill right hander!!! WOW this herman guy pulled one out of the bag with this one!

i will say this on sete, hes the only person who can change his luck, but ive said it once so i say it again how can he be fininshed when hes a vey fast pole man which always gives a chance to win, with a tad of luck and i know hes binned it lots but he could have won 4 or 5 races this year,, ok should have won ...

Agreed mate!!

Sete ( shakes head)

Marco well done son,

Nicky yup should have pushed all the way.

Rossi well done for getting the most out of the Yam.

Tony Elias very good race and a nice dice with Colin, great to see.

Who knows.............he had pace, but how many times this year as he had pace and foosed it up? Marco was very strong and a well deserved first win (cant belive it was his first!!!, it seems hes been around ages!)...........so I'd say no.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (teomolca @ Oct 24 2005, 01:36 AM)<div class='quotemain'>Elías 6th,  he is progressing swiftly. I expect him to go 110% in the last race in Spain (so either a crash or a top 5).

I hold my hand up and say well done Teo for pickin elias...........he did a superb ride...........think where he would have been if he didnt have that mystery incident (lost 9 seconds..........camera's didnt show it??).

Superb race & track!

That 5th gear 150mph uphill right hander was one of the coolest piece of racetrack I have ever seen.

This is how race tracks should be built.

Multiple elevation changes, technical multi apex corners, the only thing missing was the crowd....

This might sound a sexist remark but I think Sete should keep his missis out of the garage then he might keep his mind on the job! the testosterone seems to be missing on race day!

Thought Rossi did v well seeing as he had a bad start! didn't take him long to do his overtaking manouvers did it! even so it held him up a bit by which time Melandri was on a mission!

xx
