Where are the true MotoGP enthusiasts someone asked? Yes, that's a good question with so many tourists amongst us. It's quite simple but you'll have to wait until Rossi retires to see who is left in the stands and you'll soon see.
This brings me to a question that may have asked before and my apologies if that is the case, but how much do you think the sport in general will be effected once all the tourists go home? Has VR got that much influence that we could feel the effects of one mans departure? I for one acknowledge VR for his accomplishments but he is just another rider to me, as they all are, I'm a MotoGP fan so my support for this great sport will be effected zero percent. What do you guys think, that's if any real MotoGP fans hang out here?

Did this really deserve a new topic?

Vale retiring will be a blip on the motogp radar.

Do any real Gp fans hang out here? Considering more than one person who works in the GP circus post on here, that there are members who analyse everything from sector times to what riders eat for breakfast... I think thats a ....... stupid question.

GP was a big international sport with fans packing the hillsides, manufacturer interest, and major corporate sponsors before Rossi. It will be fine after Rossi, I think. The factories are the real life blood of the sport. Not Rossi.

The true MotoGP fan question was s dig at a previous post! I haven't laughed so much in years at your reply Baffy !!!I thought the dig was obvious!! Ffs

No, still be watching Lorenzo, :clapping: Sad thing about it is, with all this hating going on, on twitter, etc , if your lucky enough to actually get in the paddock in my opinion all the riders, will be more ellusive than they are already....:banghead: it was very bloody annoying when we went to Silverstone...

I won't lose interest and I'm gong to carry on watching until Cal Crutchlow wins the world championship

From here to eternity then!

Only if riders start let vale go by, then I might be tempted to turn the tv off for the first time.

This is early 2000 wwf.
Here's to hoping stone cold marquez makes this backlash
