It was just announced this morning that traction control will be allowed in AMA competition for all classes. Supersport and Superstock classes must use TC systems via OEM sensors and Superbike and Formula Xtreme is unlimited. Surely this means the playing field has just been leveled some as Ducati have a developed TC system in WSB and Honda have been working on one with the Ten Kate team. This can only be good for BB, The Hodge, Zemke and Duhamel and might be trouble for Spies, Mladin and especially Yates.

Laguna Seca this weekend, traction control legal, a system in place and ready to be put on his factory 999, riding on form as of late. It's looking like a Bostrom kind of weekend.

But it's so hard to find and prove that it's actually TC that you have to legalize it or else it becomes a cheating epidemic. At least now everyone knows they CAN use it if they can afford to.

Well the rumors are that Suzuki AMA team has been using a form of traction control for the past few seasons.

So we`ll be saying goodbye to Yoshimura Suzuki Dominance. Which gives other teams a shot at wins, and even titles! Where are them Hayden Kawasakis hiding....

I think this is exactly why they legalized it. Anybody could see Suzuki had TC, but they couldn`t prove it. So if they make it legal it takes away the advantage. I can`t stop thinking about the Yoshi Suzuki team squirming as that news was annonced

. Bsides, MotoGP uses TC, and I think WSBK do too, and the action is still great there. Bike racing wont turn into somthing as boring as F1 that easily
