top speed of the 800 cc

Unofficially I thought we had reached 216 or 217 mph, the official record I believe is 214 mph. I don't think the top speeds have been released yet for the 800cc bikes, the only 800cc prototype I know if is Honda's and that is top secret so I'm sure there are no figures released as of yet. My assumption is that the governing body has gotten input from the major manufacturers and asked what kind of power to engine size ratio they can achieve at the present technology. I think they want to limit the speeds around 200 mph so I think we will see the first official tests nearing the 200 mph range. I have to believe though that they will develop the same way the 990cc machines have, they will become faster and faster every season.
