Well found gaz. Unfortunately IMO this makes makes the motogp field look like customers rather than prototype racers/developers.

The down side of the one tyre rule, here's your choice-pick one.......IMO if a rider/team have the talent and experience to order something particular which pushes the development boundaries then they should be allowed when competing in a prototype based series.

While motogp persists with the walmart retail approach to tyre supply with BS, then you cannot call the series prototype based.
