I heard Dani is being labelled as "The Titanium" by "someone". Do you guys ever heard of that and why is that so?

Well, as far as I know, titanium is an element that is both light and strong. It is also very resistent to a number of wearing. It is also used as a good alloy, especially with Iron (a good combination for a tennis racket

So may be they're calling Dani as "The Titanium" because although he is very light (which may be attributed to the height

; he is 51 kgs.), he is also strong and competitive.

Intresting thing I read the other day, apparently contrary to popular belif, Titanium isnt stronger than Steel, It`s just got a better strength to weight ratio.... sounds like comparing Dani and Nicky to me. Dani couldn`t bench press more than Hayden, but I bet he could lift a bigger percent of his body weight than the kentucky kid.

with the eyes i was born with ickle dani is super fast because of his weight but man handling the bike around and .... like breaking into corners aint ever gunna his best points but after saying all this hes sure as hell trying

Ros, it's not disrespectful. Basically it's another way of saying he's strong and light. And who is the "someone" who calls him Titanium?

Well the guys over at motogpnews call him Thumbelina so Thumbelina it is.

No, it makes him fatser as he is so small and light.
 
But he's not strong enough yet that's why he fades towards the end of the race. I reckon toward the end of the season we'll see him win.

hmmmmm..... we shall see. we should all order our rose tinted glasses now i guess. hey teo how do u think mb will do when weight minimums are imposed? i've heard rumblings already about this.
