i know it's not MotoGP - but it's a ....... rad event if you enjoy cars, bikes, babes, beaches, beers & live music.

all vehicles are pre-WWII & sexy as .....

i'll be heading to the beach for another good year.

Fuckkkkkk, I would kill to go to this!!!! Just like I'd love to visit the goodwood revival too.

Also, the salt flats. But .... dude, chopped looks sick.

Goodwood & Pendine Beach in Wales (similar to TROG) would be great events to go to in the UK. Pendine was last weekend.

TROG, Bonneville & the Rodders Revival in Maryland are my US too do's.

Chopped is ballistic by any measure. Just held on a farm in central Victoria. Everything is policed by entrants, so as long as you not being a .... & pissing people off, do as you please. If you are, there's no shortage of cool cats who will set you straight.

How could you miss something this cool so close. I would definitely make an effort next year if you get the chance. Most call it low tech, but to me it's no tech - nothing made later than the 50's pretty much.

Cool ...., I like how they featured the kegs in opening scenes. If u want chaos and mayhem, I recommend the Baja 500.

I was at Goodwood FOS a couple of weekends ago....I try to go every other year....havent been to the Revival festival yet though....

The FOS is definitely a great June day or weekend out....great to see and hear cars and bikes of all types and ages....and they have plenty of food and drink to accommodate all classes of society....

I highly recommend the FOS....

I went on Saturday this year, so i missed the Rossi mayhem on the Sunday....

It started as the Weston Enduro in the early eighties, now pulls massive crowds. I've tried to experience as many historic events in the U.K. as I can over the years...such as Shelsley Walsh and Oliver's Mount but there are so many annual, traditional, well known and lesser known race events that I have always wanted to see around the world. As Jum says, Baja is definitely one of them, but also Paeroa, Pikes Peak Hill climb, the Indy mile, Macau and would love to do Suzuka eight hour.

These dudes are insane taking those bikes on sand. The clean up must be horrendous. Looks like something out of Boardwalk Empire.

Yup, that .... is corrosive as hell. When I was your age I used to go riding at the beach all the time. And just the air is corrosive cant imagine sand and salt.

Edit. Actually check that. I can imagine. I used to go to a place called Pismo Beach here in Cali where you can dirt bike ride on the beach. I hated cleaning the dirt bike after. We stopped going because the fun factor was overtaken by the cleanup.
