just a bit of wild speculation to provide amusement for us over the festive season.

which rider do you think is going to drive awat the nice shiny BMW tin .... box at the IRTA test in 08?

IMO dani will get this one and as a complete outside bet, RdP

anyone else have any ideas/thoughts on this?

I didn't know they were developping a motogp bike.

Are they still giving away the Beemer for tests?? I had this idea that the M award supeceded that??

Rossi always tries his best to go for it, its quite comical as he hardly needs it!

I think he uses this test to plan some mind games for the season ahead.

oh at home lots .... I've been to the shopping centre ... the beach a bit ,,,, two concerts at the opera house in two seasons and the weekly praticing ... that's allways a bit of time taken up .... haven't travelled lots ( thank christ ) ..... been helping my kids ..... the eldest was the subject of false charges and false arrest, by the police after he "death threatened the school headmaster" when a teacher headbutted him ( that was a waste of time ).... been preparing a report on that matter for the ombudsman .... been protesting about the false provision of information, by government, to imply terrorist threat in order to wrest more control over the citizens and the .... been building a dam with my youngest ( he loves muddy water ) LOL ...... been fixing the house ..... been mowing lawns ..... I still have a log fire and I find that takes a lot of time over winter ( I swear we go through about 20 tons a year of timber I have to chainsaw ) ..... I fixed the driveway ( same hired tractor as I used on the dam ....... fixed the cars ..... helped eldest get a new car .... helped him over the psych hassles of the false arrest ..until he got a girlfriend ... been awaiting the arriva of the new grandchild ..... been fixing bikes .... been thinking of building a boat ( designing ) ...... been fishing with the kids ..... been working .... been helping the kids with homework. .... been fixing car radios ( don't ask .... why do all my sons friends buy the same car entertainmemnt system with the same inherent fault ) ... been teaching the kids to surf ....


.... me!! how stupid I've been!! ..... you are dead right!! the above is a list of the stuff I am not doing any more as I am now going to watch what cars BMW are giving away for what.!!

and PS. I am happy to be the brunt of your need for "brinkmanship" as I have enough in my meager life to entertain me at present thanks ..... and I sense that the aforementioned "brinkmanship" is sorely needed in some folks cases around here ...... and I note those that sort "the brinkmanship" were again " sooking Rossi fans" ...... comeon guys ...... you really do need to look at motogp from another angle

i was wondering who would be fastest on qualifiers at the last official test at jerez (usually)before the 2008 season starts. the prize for this being a BMW tinplate coffin M series thingy. you as a moto gp fan should have known this........

no thats exactly as I thought you said .... and I merely asked if it was still going as yes I had funny thought that The M award as of this year was the only thing they were going to do ( I used the word "superceded" ) ........ I had thought I had read something on such a scheme some time ago .... Perhaps I should have reworded it .......

some time ago I read an article suggesting that the pre-season BMW giveaway was to be dropped and the M award Beemer to be the sole giveaway ...... has anybody else heard such a thing? ....... I kinda think I have been answered ...... but now I'm not so sure ... as history has shown me that the "types" who get into a bit of "brinkmanship" are usually ..... "full of ...."

So it was a simple and fair question ....

1. as far as i know, the car is still being given away after the "shootout" at the jerez test. looks like it will be 18th of feb...

2. i have not seen such an article which suggests the beemer giveaway is to be dropped...doesnt mean there isnt one, just i aint seen/heard of it.

3. i am still a little confused as to why you feel it necessary to tell me what you have been doing for the last 10 years? why?
