Thank You God for Rossi and Yamaha, ...what would it be without them?

FYI...Rossi is going to test the Ferrari F1 AGAIN soon... He insists it's just for fun, but why not--after all, he's demonstrated all could be reasonably demonstrated on a motorcycle, and Agostini's records are unreachable now that riders can compete in only one class every year.

F1 could currently be considered MUCH more interesting than MotoGP--with a control tyre and a control ECU, see how the title race is being fought to the last mile!

I thought he just said he would like to test it not that he actually was. Rally is his future, we all know it.

Only if ridiculous stewards decisions which cannot be appealed are your bag. That's why the title race is going to the wire, not due to racing on the track. Motogp has its issues and I know a few people on here have their conspiracy theories but at least I don't feel it's rigged. With F1 it's impossible to come to any other conclusion.

thats why i tell the kids "just say no to F1".

i would rather see a processional races on 2 wheels than a race where there is plenty overtaking done in the courtroom...

I am not closely following F1 so do not really know about all these things,--my impression from the little I watched is that racing has improved though. I have seen lots of overtaking, seems different from the past. Wrong impression?
No doubt it is sad if politics matter more, but that is an aspect of F1 that MotoGP do not need to imitate. And which had began long before the control tire and control ECU, which in themselves are really helping the show....

Rossi is approaching more Records:

149 Appearances at 500cc and MotoGP are 10 short of Agostini's Record.

332 Points in a Season is 35 short of his own record of 367 in 2005 (even with Stoner's 367 in 2007) with 2 races and 50 points remaining. Cross your fingers!

Also with Eduards 3th at Assen, Yahama has at least one Podium at every race so far this year, with two races to go and Rossi contributing a lot here too.

can't imagine what would it be without Vale

, he is funny besides what we all know he is a Champion

Now there are many more GPs per season compared to Ago's times, so the records Rossi could reach are the total number of premier class wins (already broken) and maybe the points per season--i.e. those records where more GPs per season can help.

But forget about the global record like 15 world titles--that's what I was referring to. That's unreachable now that one can win maximum 1 world title per year (Ago won 2 titles every year for several years in a row).

Well as it stands we get at least two more years.
