suffering honda guys

obviously there is no doubt the honda is not at the same level as the ducati etc. but i will wait for a statement from Pedrosa (if he ever speaks) before we can believe Checa that ALL the honda bikes are that bad. Checa is bottom of the honda "tree" so gets very little help compared to honda's holy child Pedrosa.

I think its the best looking bike on the grid! (possible exception for Marlboro ducati)

Pedrosa and Hayden get a bit more power, but the chassis is the same for all (so far) and it's .....

Correction: Roberts is at the bottom of the Honda "tree". Pedrosa may not be programmed to speak, that would require about 5 extra pounds of circuits, so they left that out to keep a weight advantage.

What's wrong with Checa's word? Is he not credible? If so why?

i wasnt counting roberts as besides the engine they dont get support from honda in terms of their chassis etc.

funny pedrosa comments.

Checa is only speaking about his own bike really coz Pedrosa and Hayden have got upgrades and their bike is clearly better than the bikes of checa and nakano.

I've been wondering if the 16.5" bridgestones had any + or - to the 16" of miches on the honda's. I thought at the start of the season the Michelin's on Honda's would be the hottest ticket.

You might have a very good point. The troubles we've seen this and the former two seasons are about tire grip and chassis, and chatter seems to be the symptom.
I think that what we see now is that they are getting very close to the limits to the conventional suspension. The suspension simply can't handle much more. More and more forces are tranferred to other parts. The flex in different materials and joins including everyting from rubber and wheel bolts to frame must be extreemly complex and therby very difficult to sort out.
Yamaha hardly sorted it out last season, but are on the top now. Honda was partly ok last year, but the satelite teams were suffereing. (stoner)
What I would really like to know: Does Yamaha even have a clue about what they did right this year, or was it just a lucky draw by trial and error?
The ducati also seems to be much improved this year but then again, they have the same 16.5" wheel as last year.

michelins are good tires. but bridgestones have raised the bar. We were all used to seeing the michelins slipping and sliding at the end of the race. Thats is not the case with bridgestone..

Honda my not be the top two, because of Rossi (who could probably place in the top 3 on a moped) and Stoner (who I think has been helped more by Bridgestone than Ducati). Clearly, the top speeds between the Repsol Hondas and Ducatis are comparable. Most of the other Hondas are finishing better than the other bikes in the field.

Its obviously Honda will do something about their power and top speed before the season is over. But, how much of that they can use will be limited by the tire grip.

Last year I think he did that once or twice yes, this year he's been on the 16.0" form day one AFAIK.

No wait... I got Pedrobot 'sending a kiss' believe it! Someone at the human personnel department at high tec HRC ultra secret labs empathized humans and programmed this movement. You don’t get to see it, but later they send via wireless a locking emotions signal so that Pedrobot wouldn’t feel anything like pitty… Still his processor can’t coupe good enough with that kiss thing so he’s lack of performance!
