That is a crowded podium

Are you saying that these riders will lose their seats if they don't achieve these results?

Excellent thread, and top post Drill.

Disagree where Colin is concerned though; - it would be great to see him get that elusive race win before he goes, which is definitely in him, but while he's not solely riding for his retirement, he's not a championship protagonist. Colin rides for a respectable fifth or sixth in the championship, and anything he can get at this stage in his career is a bonus - I don't think constant podiums is a viable prospect though. Dovi - certainly. I think Simonceli may well have a rostrum on the cards, and it would be nice to see his teammate, the other Marco back up there where he belongs.

Everyone needs to desperately avoid Barbera, although I've a feeling that Nicky, the way things have gone this season, won't have much say in the matter!

the marco's might get top 5's

cant see nicky getting a podium

dovi needs to improve

Tech3 might be a bad bike in 2010 i didnt rate it this yr & the 6 engine rule might see Tech3 struggle

the others well it all may depend on how de-tuned the 2010 engines are Sat teams might suffer big time

6 engines for the whole season this might make a total bollocks of the 2010 season

There was talk on the weekend that all interested parties are going to get together soon to discuss the engine rule, with the likelihood of it being upped to atleast 8-10 engines for a season.

yeah i read about this awhile ago. i think the engine alotment is going to go up a bit.

Perhaps Rossi can get a ‘Back door deal’ for an ‘Over Night Special’ engine ‘Each Race’ just for him! How’s that?

I really expect a strong showing from Marco Simoncelli; he somehow appears to be just so well fit for the motogp class any which way.. and he is on not-so-bad machinery either to pull a podium or a win or two..

Danibot. I expect him to loosen up and be more competitive next season.

Dani needs regular wins
Dovi needs regular podiums
Hayden needs to beat satellite riders
Simoncelli needs to be rookie of the year
Berbera needs to be safe (as he has been this season)
Melandri needs to show that the Ducati disaster was a one off

I expect some good races by Honda Gresini riders next year. It would be great to see him on the podium sometimes, but I don't think Edwards will do better next year. A big ? on Spies.

It's funny how you all still think that they accidentally 'forgot' to paint Rossi's tires during one of this years earlier race.

super they did run out of paint for vale's tyres (honest) what else were they to do.
