Yeah, he is huge into the peddle power...it is a lot eaiser on the knees and rest of the body. Crutchlow just did over 1,100 miles on a bike here in the states a few weeks ago. I recall on Facebook Spies training with some Italian cycling stars and RHayden last year during the season.
It is one of the best training tools around, though IMO it is to dangerous on the streets. Didn't Bayliss get hit by a car once or twice while out training? People who are really into it have told me that they have lost track of all the times they actually gotten hit or ran into the side of a car that pulls suddenly in front of them.
I asked why not train only on the dirt with mountain bikes, and was told that mtb's are not as efficient so people are less interested or likely to ride them.
