This is getting out of hand. The change to 800s was a ridiculous reactionary policy adopted by the Japanese manufacturers after Kato's death, but all of these changes are getting to be a bit much.

Ezy tried to sell the 800s to the fans, but we ain't buying it. Slowly but surely the 800s are surpassing the 990s and in some ways the handling characteristics are starting to become more 990 esque. If a control tire is adopted a little fuel is probably all they need to correct the horrible racing. You can't easily go back to the 990s 2 seasons out. The 800s should have been shot down before the 2007 season.

Ezy really is an ...... The manufacturers changed only the displacement and fuel and it has damn near ruined the sport. Now Ezy thinks a new handful of changes will fix it?

I'd like to see the 990s again, but not if they arrive with even more restrictive rules.

I agree the 800s are not as exciting but i'm loving the class from a technical point of view!

Agreed.
Lose the traction control and fuel limit, and let riders exchange a bit of paint again like they used to - without bangin on about health and safety! We have a show, it's called F1, i want to see racing.

Sorry, got off topic there really.
Single tyre rule? No thank you. All tyres are different, and what suits one rider doesn't always work for another. Let them choose what works for them - it is the most important part of how a bike feels.

lex give the guy a little credit. we all demonize the him for the woes of gp but it's the manufactures, honda in particular it seems, that end up doing the most damage to the racing themselves. like the article says the manufacturers want victories by tens of seconds ezy wants it by tenths. it would be best if by hundreths.

He's in an unenviable position.

I can't cut him any slack. He's shown what he will do when the fans write him a blank check.
