Have it on good authority that Gibbers will be leaving Ducati for the newly formed BULTACO motogp effort... bike pictured will be updated with titanium, just like its rider... team name/sponsor is reported to be Team Self-Storage Mothball Bultaco GP... Team principle, the spirit of Sete's grandfather, Francisco "Paco" Bultó has stated, "if some titanium can fix up my grand-sonny,then I'm sure it'll work for the bike also," through a medium/translator.

Ducati will let Nicky go and the balance of the riders (who are A. observant
and B. superstitious) will turn down all offers to fill his position
- until such time that Ducati builds a non-career-killer bike.

Y'know . . . Jum, I generally agree with your posts. But I think you're both right on this. I wouldn't
go so far as to say Hayden is window dressing - but marketing-wise he was a great decision for Ducati. Hayden fans are Hayden fans no matter what (you're clear evidence of that) and if they're the type to buy the bike ridden by their hero - then Nicky is a great choice regardless. I like Hayden as much as anyone - but I think your Hayden-obsession is getting the better of you when you start calling your friends stupid. A little dose of objectivity wouldn't kill you bro.
