Remember on a previous thread where I said Yamaha were screwed if they want to replace Morbidelli for 2024? Well, it looks like Jorge Martin's contract has a clause that will allow him to leave a year early if he wants to. Therefore Yamaha are rumoured to already be in discussions with him:

MotoGP, Yamaha, you there? That’s why Jorge Martin will be the thorn in Ducati’s side.

He wants a factory bike, and while Bastianinni has the same 'option for 2024' apparently, if he remains with the factory team Martin has expressed he will look for a factory bike elsewhere, which leaves Yamaha.

Were he to move, it it rumoured that Marco Bezzechi would take him place.

Always interesting to see who gets along with which bike.

I think Franky is only still in MotoGP because of the contract he signed. It sure can’t be due to the results he has obtained. It was time for him to go to pasture the year before last.

Yep, morbidelli is dust if he produces another season like last year. J Martin is a talent and has proven can be quick. I'd proffer and add that there could be rides in HRC next year also. Marc could jump ship, runs and mir may not gel with the machine that Honda roll out.

I'm pulling for Frankie to turn things around but I'm not holding my breath. Also hoping Yamaha improves their package and give the boys a better bike. What is Yamaha's aversion to developing a V4? Even though Marc is not impressed with the Honda (at this point), I still think he'll be a factor. In the end I'm thinking the Ducati Armada will be really tough to beat consistently.
