I don't imply that you are dictating terms to anyone. I took it that you ended the flame war for the sake of the better running of the forum. Obviously JKD and Dubs have a great deal of regard for you. So I merely suggested as friends of a particular leaning, they might be influenced by your skills as a statesman to join you on the road you have chosen. Otherwise if they continue to act as your (intended or otherwise) proxies - your mere lack of participation in the flame war won't be suffient to quash the negativity that has overrun this forum. That's just the reality of it. The effort to vilify and ....-block me into oblivion was a concerted one. The movement to end hostilities then too requires equal participation to be genuinely effective.

I'm right here you can direct your comments straight to me. Don't out it in Jumkie to straighten me out. As friends we would never do that to each other. Is it over? .... if I know. I'm going to keep being me and I expect you will keep on being you. I would prefer that we ignore each other. I don't have any plans to attack you but if you feel the need to try to teach me a lesson again. I will start right were I left off. Now shut the .... up about it already.

If you are serious about not furthering all the ill-will then maybe start by not being so defensive and antagonistic. Either you want the flaming to end or you don't.

This can't properly end if everybody has to satisfy their egos by getting in one last shot. I don't expect anybody to stop being themselves. That doesn't happen in the real world. But even the greatest of enemies after wars are over learn to be civil to each other. I've seen documentary films of Tutsis whose families were mass murdered who knew that the only way to put an end to the misery was to forgive and forget. They'd lost whole families to .... and murder and they didn't hold onto resentment and rage the way some people here do over what amounts to a war of words and big egos. The adage goes that nobody really wins internet flame wars and it's a cliche but it's true. The only way anybody "wins" is if we all agree that we all win. If anybody here thinks they're doing someone else a favor by simply holding their tongue - they're kidding themselves. Either we all do it for the benefit of the forum or it will fall apart. Pov was on the money when he said we were all ........ at some point. Either we're all ready to stop playing the blame game - or this .... will just flare up again. Nobody has to agree or kiss anyone's .... We can simply signify a willingness to end this by not writing anymore antagonistic posts.

Deal. I think we've all tried to get our point across enough. Lets all start focusing our attention on Valencia and the first annual powerslide retreat at Shovels club. All are welcome even the noobs.

Anyone pre 2010 and 2000 or more post is considered VIP. It will get you in but entry isn't guaranteed.

There will be many contest I'm sure, you will have to ask shovel if there is an overall champion. And for the love of god trim the grass its the 2000's no one likes a shaggy lawn.
