MotoGP times from the third and final day of the opening test of 2007, held at Sepang and attended by Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki and Kawasaki teams.

This week's outing was the second of three winter tests scheduled at the Malaysian circuit before the start of the new season, in Qatar on March 10, but marked the first time ever that all five major MotoGP manufacturers had their new 800cc machines on track together. Indeed, of the expected 2007 grid, only the new Ilmor SRT team was absent.

The next test will take place at Phillip Island in Australia from January 30 to February 1, before the teams return to Sepang for the third and final time on February 5-7.

And no, Ilmor arent participating in any of the flyaway tests, theyre trying to get the thing 'competetive' by sitting in their workshop, shaking in their boots as the season ahead approaches..

Sure, Pitty loves the Island but he wouldnt be setting good times on that nail...

Damn DeSlug's not too bad. I might have to forgive him for his expected disappointment last year. He may turn out to be the best thing since.... Nakano. OJ could pick up the pace a bit, though

I'm actually very impressed by John Hopkins and the performance that he's put in over the 3 test sessions in Sepang, he's been near the top on all 3 occassions. Nice to see that Valentino has eventually picked up the pace and put in a quicker lap than anyone else, Capirossi, Pedrosa and Vermeulen have also all done well over the 3 sessions, Suzuki look to be going strong so far. Get your thinking caps on for the Fantasy Manager League guys.
