Rossi's Grid Girl

hmm teo I guess I would pass for that opportunity yes. it's just one of the principles I have, and even for paddock passes I won't push them away. there are other ways to get in the paddock. I don't want to be seen as a bimbo, I have to much self respect to do that but if other girls do it, fine, it's their own decision, but to me it seems useless and they seem to only lower themself with it

how does that lower themselves? not as if they're out there table dancing....if a female was on the grid, and had some hunk holding a brella would that be ok?

you're right, it's not like table dancing or anything that comes near that.

IMO the hunk-part wouldn't be ok too.. it works both ways, but this is just my opinion. with lowering themselfs I mean that I feel that no one should have to show themselfs like a chunk of meat going for an inspection and a mark, just to feel good about themself. I know, attention of guys is realy flattering and boosts you self-confidence, but I think that kind of attention that men gives to women isn't necessary to boost her confidence. she should have enough confidence to flatter herself

just search for - Rizla Suzuki Girls - on this forum and you know what kind of attention I mean I'm with suzie on this one

I know that grid girls will always be a part of GP's so I know that my opinion will not make any difference

Marijke, I was at the Red Bull Track Attack a few days ago, got VIP passes which was fun, and got to watch the races from the shade. Anyway, Red Bull brought along grid girls, and the Go-Karting track I race at also brought along some blonde girl to advertise the place. When a friend of mine from the track walked by, she said "What is that, a boy or a girl?". Me and two other drivers were literally in tears with laughter. She was, as one of the drivers said "A pure blonde". No offence Marijke, you break the stereotype

He is not a gay so I saw his girlfriend in Turkey GP. She was very beautiful. They said she is a model in Italy and etc.

Why do you consider that is lowering oneself?

I mean being pretty doesn't mean they are stupid, and why should they not profit from an advantage they have?

For example, comedians DO look stupid, Rowan Atkinson appears on TV acting like an ....., he has the ability to make people laugh by acting like that. It doesn't mean he is an ..... (actually I think he is a doctor) but why should he waste this talent taking a "serious" job and quit comedy just because it doesn't look as respectable as a doctor???

So my point is that standing there holding an umbrella is nothing to be ashamed about and if someone thinks you're stupid because you're doing that job I think HE is the stupid one for judging a person just on the false ridiculous idea that pretty+blonde = stupid.

They get paid a lot of money to stand there for all of ten minutes holding an umbrella and wearing a short skirt..... Anyone know where I can apply?

Just like Pedrosa`s personality, what does it matter? It makes no diffrerence on the track.
I don`t think he`s gay. I mean, a few bad haircuts and a lot of ...... Italian tabloids treating him like Hollywood scum, and the fact that he`s very close to his best freind, with a good reason that has nothing to do with his sexuality. That`s the evidince pointing to the fact that he`s gay. Pretty sketchy with a lot of assumptions laced in if you ask me.
Then you look at the evidence against it. The guy has been photographed getting busy with females, seems to get involved with a lot of attractive women, and as it that aint enough What about WLF? Are we forgetting that? Besides, knowing a guy like Rossi, if he was Gay why would he be afraid to admit it? Come on, how straight does he have to be? I guess it only takes a few rumors...
