Let’s set them in those places to see if those bets could be a forecast…

It was pretty obvious though wasn't it?

Shame to see old Hicky Hayden is placed fourth though, he won't be that crap at a defence this year.

A few quid on Colin then!!!

There's always the risk of a Rossi injury early/mid season, remember Schumacher and Irvine in 1999?

Not such a daft bet after all is it?

& He was favourite last year, so.....

yeah i hope he fights hard to retain his crown- although i dont want him to keep it because i want dani to take it

if edwards was the only one in motogp he still wouldnt win it!

i think capirossi will be very strong this year- definately in with a good chance.

I agree that if Rossi was to be out of competition for whatever reason Edwards would not be the man to pick up the pieces. It just wont happen.

As for Rossi being favorite, i could have easily told you that

Well surely Rossi will be the man to beat. Dani of course, it almost seems they created the new 800s for him.

But more interesting, how did they come up with the odds for the last 5 guys???? Outch, yeah your chances of winning are: 50 gajillion to 1.

BTW: Does anybody know what the odds were for Hayden last year?

To be fair to him I think that Colin Edwards is under-rated in the odds. Fine, he had a crap year last year but he never had the good bike underneath him. Hayden needs to correct a few punters too eh?

^^ I would bet that if Colin were a one man show we would see his best. I have no Idea if that would be good enough for a championship or not but it would be interesting.

Jumkie, I think Hayden's odds were 15 to one last year, but don't quote me on that. Stoner and Melandri have the same chances of winning the title? That's a bit far-fetched, isn't it?

Hi Richo, where have you been? I've missed your posts. I'd have to agree with you there about Stoner and Melandri. Though Melandri would have a much better chance than Stoner in my opinion. Maybe since Stoner recently got married they gave him a few more points, now that he won't be distracted by the umbrella girls, eh?

Aww, I missed you too, man.

I just been getting ready for uni (College) and stuff, haven't found a lot of spare time. Anyway, I think Melandri has a much better chance of winning the title than Stoner. Neither of them are kings of consistency, but Melandri will probably end up with a better bike, he crashes less and he wins more. As for stoner's marrige, remember what Edwards said about wives & kids in DTK?
