It seems a new and improved Valentino Rossi has returned from the mid season break. Friday's FP1 saw Rossi surprise everyone by securing the fastest time, and setting the first lap record of the newly redesigned circuit. In an interview with Speedweek earlier today, Rossi had this to say when asked if he thought Marc Marquez can continue his perfect season:
'"For sure he can not win his tenth consecutive race in Indy", chuckled superstar Valentino Rossi.'
Rossi is not alone in his desire to prevent Marquez from achieving the coveted 10 out of 10 successive race wins, which has not been done since Mick Doohan in 1997. Hayden, Espargaro, and Edwards have also expressed their desires to see Marc unseated by another rider. Is Vale perhaps finally beginning to return to race wining form? Will the pressures of maintaining a perfect season prove too much for the world champion? Or can Marquez push for a 10th win? What do YOU think?
